Braun contests another miss by Shai at the halftime buzzer, and the reigning MVP goes to the break with 2 points on 0/7 FG. The Nuggets lead 48-44.
Cam Johnson to the bench to get something looked at. He's looked uncomfortable a couple of times after hitting the deck in this first half.
Btwn the injuries and the opponent, David Adelman has had no interest in trying an all-bench lineup so far. Aaron Gordon staggered first few minutes of the second quarter to give Brazile a well-earned rest, then Murray/Johnson came back in. Nuggets grinding in non-Jokic minutes.
Aaron Gordon got hit with an offensive foul on what he thought should've been a made 3-pointer plus a defensive foul. Nuggets took a long time to go over the tape, then decided they wanted to challenge it, but the crew didn't grant it, said ball had been given to inbounder first.
Nuggets kept two defenders/athletes on the floor at all times as they rotated out everyone except Nikola Jokic in the first quarter of the season. Trevon Brazile has eight rebounds in the first five minutes of his NBA career lol
Trevon Brazile and Christian Braun doing well with the crashing assignment. Brazile picked up a foul on that last rebound attempt, but he gets a warm reception back at the bench.
