Interesting. Shows what I felt. We controlled a good period of the game, but were already 2-0 down and therefore it doesn’t really count. We can’t keep giving these types of early leads away as it’s too much to come back from.
If Sunderland win Palace take their 3 trophies into the bottom 3 whilst we remain 3rd. There is some symmetry in that.
Don’t think we have been bad. Just not got the key moments right. Ayari is a bad one and bad defending for the two goals. Since 2-0 we have looked good. Feels a bit like the Man Utd and Chelsea games where we started slowly. Need the next goal then I’d fancy us to get something.
