Not really a shock, the more the week went on, the more it looked likely that Archie would turn down the deal.
Can’t blame him either really, clearly sees us in decline, while he can better himself elsewhere during this peak years. Gutting all the same though #pufc

I think deep down we all knew this was coming. I’m not even sure it’s because he’s unhappy here, I think he knows he’s about to reach his peak years and wants to be playing higher up in all honesty which I can’t blame him for, especially given where we’re at right now #pufc

Good player is Archie and wish him all the best. Let’s not forget, he played his part in a 18th place finish in league one last season.

At least he’s turned down the offer early so we can make changes unlike the last 3 who ran their contracts down right until the last day, good luck and move on if that’s the case

Wow. What a way to ruin a successful relationship. If you didn’t want to stay, why not tell the club 2 months ago?

I can’t blame him in the slightest, but that is us even more fucked then we already were. Wont sign anyone near the quality he has and what we have here to replace him with is diabolical #pufc
