59 years later, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s unfinished journey to Israel finally becomes a reality. ❤️🇮🇱🇺🇲
Today, 500 African American and African Christian leaders arrived in Israel as part of the "Unfinished Business" pilgrimage, an initiative created and led by the BCLCIR.
Their vision was to fulfill Dr. King’s dream of bringing African American pastors on a pilgrimage and solidarity trip to the Holy Land.
It was a journey MLK planned in 1967, but never got to make.
At a time when it proves most costly, these brave leaders came to see Israel for themselves, led by their faith, a deep commitment to the truth, and in service of Black - Jewish community building, a special tradition built by generations of solidarity.
As part of their trip, they also honored Israelis whose lives were forever changed by October 7 and by antisemitism, including Elkana Bohbot, who survived 738 days in Hamas captivity.

And if you strip away the posturing, almost everyone picks the Bosnians.
Even the religious ones. Especially the religious ones, once the question is forced. Because deep down they already know religion is a choice you can make or unmake, while ancestry is not.
Homophily is not a social construct. It is the default setting of a species that spent a few hundred thousand years sorting itself into groups that could trust each other enough to survive. You prefer the people who look, sound, and smell like the ones you grew up with.
That preference does not vanish because someone hands you a different book or a different flag.

Different clothes, different food, different smells, different volume, different rules about women and public space, a language that does not sound like anything already on the street. Islam makes it worse once you read it, but most of the men arriving are not arriving to wage jihad. The data is clear on that. They are arriving because the place they left is worse and the place they are going is softer. The objection is the same one that appears when the group is Indian, Chinese, or African instead: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝘀.

Every single allegation against Russell Brand concerns events that took place twenty years ago or more. None of them existed while he was a famous actor or comedian. All of them emerged once he became a highly visible dissident on politics and Covid.
Brand has been forthright about his behavior as a young man, but the idea he was a serial rapist is absurd and, more importantly, completely unprovable.
This is a political prosecution, plain and simple.

- Autoriser jusqu’à 3 jours d’arrêt maladie autodéclaré, sans consulter de médecin.
- Accorder 7 jours de congé après le décès d’un ami.
- Porter le SMIC à 1.700€ net par mois, soit une hausse de 220€.
- Ramener l’âge de départ à la retraite de 64 à 60 ans, avec une retraite à taux plein après 40 années de cotisation.
- Réduire progressivement la durée du travail à 32 heures par semaine.
- Instaurer un service écologique obligatoire de 9 mois pour les moins de 25 ans, rémunéré au SMIC.
- Faire rembourser les soins à 100% par la Sécurité sociale.
- Prendre en charge les séances de psychothérapie des moins de 26 ans.
