Jose Cotto ('25, PR) - Has shown the ability to swing it for pwr this weekend and is now playing a very clean catcher. Steals strikes, threw a guy out from his knees, and leads INF communication. (@BestinShowcase)

David Encarnacion ('25, PR) - Really like this LH bat. Hit some clean rds of bp the other day; only LDs. Today he misses a HR by about 2 ft. Smooth from SS. 6.6 runner. (@BestinShowcase)

Oscar Florimon ('26, PR) - Strong 6' build. All over this one; not rushed into launch & gets out of the box quick for a 2B. (@BestinShowcase)

Jandel Maldonaldo (’25, PR) – Really like this swing. Jandel just drove another 2B to RF after roping a foul ball to the deep PS. Also hopped on the mound for a very quick 3 outs; FB low 8s. (@BestinShowcase)

Jabdiel Perez ('25, TNXL Academy) - FB 84-86; mixed in CB/CH for strikes in low to mid 7s. Still looking for a home. Excellent student. (@BestinShowcase)

Rey Gonzalez ('26, PR) - True SS & leader for PRBAHS. Not the best night at the plate, but ran back to the dugout after a K (then 1st one on the field). Flew out in the INF and was rounding 2nd before it was caught, got lots of swings off. Made at least 3 long plays in the 5-6 hole, keeps his feet moving, game is slow to him. 88 across the INF at the showcase. 6.7 runner. (@BestinShowcase)

David Morales Velázquez (’26, PRBAHS) – Velázquez continues to show the ability to consistently create quality contact. Earlier this week, he logged a cpl of easy base hits, and last night, he came through with a big 2B in a tight 0-0 game. Much more physical this yr. Lot to like. @BestinShowcase

Milton Cintron (’26, PR) - Threw out another runner last night—this time while taking a bat to the head—and added a base hit. Upside there as he is new to catching. (@BestinShowcase)

Juan Carlos (’27, PR) - Another mature and physical 2027 Puerto Rican bat in Carlos. He’s been knocking the ball all over the field today; along with this double, I saw a single and two hard-hit line drive outs. Strong follow. (@BestinShowcase)

Said De La Rosa ('27, PR) - Really impressed during his workout on Friday; 6.7 60, 74 down, 1.97 PT. Swings it well in game; gets a knock here. Relaxed and in rhythm moving to launch. (@BestinShowcase)

Dariel Carrion (’27, PR) - This is, without a doubt, one of the best 2027 bats I’ve seen. He homered in the local league event both yesterday and today, while also adding hits at the #BestInPR event. Very polished with a pro demeanor. A strong follow. (@BestinShowcase)
