😍
Happy Snow Day! Grateful for @TheGroundsDept for cleared lots! And check out those sidewalks by our amazing custodial crews! IYKYK 😎#itsworthit
It’s pretty awesome to get to see our colleagues in action…and super special to also watch your own kids get to benefit from the passion and support that radiates off @MrBlacks_bands. These kids follow his lead, take the risks, & put on another great show!
WES talent show was a sight to see! The confidence building, community supporting, risk taking perseverance on display tonight was the thing of school community dreams, and we got to live it together! Thankful for all those that arranged this amazing opportunity!

So grateful to work at @WESOwls where I feel empowered to do big and cool things!!! Thanks to @BethNisk for pushing me out of my comfort zone to help me grow! 🥰 #ItsWorthIt
Congratulations to our amazing colleague @C_LEcuyer5 for winning the GOLDEN owl award! 🥇 🦉 Not only is she an incredible teacher, but she was a huge influence with WES STREAM night!!! Over 400 students attended. Such a reflection to your incredible talents you have!! @WESOwls
You should know that it’s ridiculous how much I love a play on words… here’s hoping you enjoy celebrating what we’ve known for years… our owls are pretty awesome….superb, some may even say! Sorry, not sorry. #itsworthit #lionsfananyway #wesowls
Congrats to our lucky winners of “turkey in your pocket”! It’s a competitive group and sure was funny to watch the antics 🤩

Thrilled for the return of WES NEST for small group community building! Thankful for our awesome staff and amazing energy from our owls! #wesway #nesties @wcsdistrict @BethNisk
Ever wanted to feel like a rockstar? Show up on the roof of school and offer to throw science projects off it… 🤪@ArinKress @Wojo_Teach4WES
So impressed with our kids at tonight’s Recess Runners/Cross Country race! So many awesome moments of kids helping each other and our community shining!
I moved to teach in NYC in September of 2001 college. My first “grown up” job. My 4th day of teaching was 9/11. Thinking of our connections and grateful to those that helped me that day…and the days that followed. Never forget.
Pride of cardinal country bringing the energy to wrap the first full week of the new year! My favorite flute is in there too ;) #bandmom
Pro tip: if you go into work on a Sunday and think the building will be empty…it will not be. All kinds of teachers prepping for our kids’ week & our custodian thinks he’s hilarious and scared the living daylights out of me with this gem “waiting” in the bathroom. 🤪😱🤦🏽♀️😍
This little buddy counts how many times he sees me…every day. On our first day back together we hit a new record…and this was just by recess (it was 9 by dismissal). Love these “little” connections we make with kids! 😎😎
Typically admin aren’t allowed to have favorites…but, I found my favorite marching band member today at convocation! What a treat! #prideofcardinalcountry 😍
If you ever want to feel really loved, celebrate your birthday with a few hundred owls! 🤩 The cards, singing, & hugs were plentiful and I’m super thankful for all of you! @WESOwls #msthompsonismybdaytwin #lotsoflove
