Loved delivering a full day of fractions to @TTSSchoolDirect primary trainees today. Lots of brilliant discussions including looking at multiple methods to subtract mixed numbers. Which method would you use, or have you got a different one? @WhiteRoseMaths

This might be the tastiest array I’ve ever made. Giant chocolate orange buttons on a egg-free chocolate cake covered with chocolate ganache.
Yum yum!
All my @WhiteRoseMaths might be over zoom so you can only see my face, but it doesn’t mean I can’t wear my favourite yellow tights!!
Loving doing the Place Value webinars this week. The power of the number line has been a hit!
Brilliant @WhiteRoseMaths webinar on Year 3 place value yesterday. Would certainly recommend. I’ve done various White Rose trainings now, in person and online, but always learn something new. #Primary

9 times 9 is 81, and 10 times 8 is 80.
12 times 12 is 144, and 13 times 11 is 143.
5 times 5 is 25, and 6 times 4 is 24.
20 times 20 is 400, so what's 21 times 19?
can you explain why this is happening, without using algebra? (i mean, go ahead with the algebra, if you insist)

Can I stay on holiday then?
Replying to @MattHancock
3/4 The spread is largely due to households meeting and not abiding to social distancing. So from midnight tonight, people from different households will not be allowed to meet each other indoors in these areas.
