Today we remember the 56 football fans who lost their lives 40 years ago in the Bradford City Stadium Fire. As a former player & Manager of the football club it is still heartbreaking that this disaster happened in its history. My thoughts are with all the families & fans who are still grieving.

On this day back in 1984 John Lowe gets the first ever 9 Dart finish live on TV. Prize £100000 big money then. Listen to how quiet the crowd are a bit different now. John Lowe was a great player and true gentleman😀

Day off on the Australia tour so we thought we'd have a party. Any reds out there recognise the cameraman behind John Barnes?

I’ve had some time to reflect at I think the BT sport coverage of the Champions League final was, on balance, the worst TV sports broadcast I’ve ever seen. Commentary, pundits, editing, tenor of coverage, the game itself, a Jake Humphrey victory lap - historically shit

Excuse me @SkySports. Please could you change one of your channels to the Bratfud Carlisle match? Don’t need Salford Stockport on both surely?

So @MichaelVaughan is currently banned from BBC over an inappropriate joke he denies making 14 years ago. But ISIS terror bride Shemima Begum, who said said the Manchester bombing of young pop fans was ‘justified’, is given a 10-part BBC podcast to defend herself? Ridiculous.
