On #BeyondNFT as a creator, you have the choice where you want to mint your #NFTs. For now, 3 different networks are available: - Ethereum - @ethereum - Polygon (ex-matic) @0xPolygon - xDai - @xdaichain (and we hope soon @NEARProtocol )

Sure don't hesitate! We even have an in-browser editor so you can preview (à la codepen) -> beyondnft.io/create/playgrou…

If you're interested in deploying to Ethereum, we already have "Factories" on Beyond that allows to do that. I'm refactoring it these days so each factories will actually be its own contract / collection that you own / manage on OpenSea.

That's not how he did this, but you can do the same pretty easily here -> beyondnft.io A website dedicated to interactive NFTs with an in-browser editor and live preview ;)
Added to that that it needs to be aware of: - the chain it lives on - the contract address - its token id We have been trying to get people to do those things in a standard way, but still not enough interest.

However, live chain data in the thumbnail is complicated. The code, since user submitted, has to be sandboxed, to protect the user. So it can not access Metamask. The NFT needs then to have an embedded access to the blockchain, but this makes it then centralized.

We do render on the marketplace. -> beyondnft.io and our NFTs are also interactive on OpenSea We used to render the preview as html, but it was a bit heavy for the browser, so now only the generated image is shown in cards, and the full HTML loaded when opening.

It's already adopted on a few marketplaces. We use sandboxed iframes to block usage of cookies, localStorage and also to block access to plugins (so no window.ethereum).

A bit of BeyondNFT history, where it is now, where it is going. A playground for creative coders/developers, where you can easily create and sell generative art, games, music, animations, etc... medium.com/@dievardump/beyon…

That's something I've done as a proof of concept yes, to answer a tweet from Pranksy => teapaw.org/dievardump/status/1427… It was done quickly though and it is not perfect, the sources are on Github
1/3 I heard there was a need... so I shipped. opensea-masslist.beyondnft.i… allows you to go through all the collections you have items of, "select them" (i.e put them in a cart) and then do a "mass listing" where you click click click... to sign the orders! It's open source 👇
I just minted "Medium Well" on @BeyondNft Click for new art #GLSL #shader beyondnft.io/explore/0x3a650… Be sure to check it out in full screen! #generative #creativecodeart #genartclub

📢 Factory: Etherise by @kalatalk Etherise mimics the rising and falling fortunes of Etheads. It's a customizable factory where you can choose 2 colors before minting. 200 max supply @ 0.05eth | 2.5% donated for each mint. -> beyondnft.io/factories/0xe20…
ETHERISE - Rising and falling fortunes of Ethheads. NFT now live at @BeyondNft beyondnft.io/factories/0xe20…

I would say tokens are mostly tied to the chain (ethereum or tezos here). I think tokens that are created on h=n can be sold on other tezos marketplaces no?

Oh I've just seen that Yazid actually already provided all those details 🌱 I've abandoned quite some time ago doing tezos contract, but if you decide to go the ethereum + custom smart contract way, you can always hit me up here or on discord :)
3
The easy one, the call to an API, can make the token completely dead if the API ever stops working. The complicated one, custom contract, cost a bit more (especially on ethereum) but can ensure that the token will never fail

On ethereum there are a few ways. -> you can do it in a decentralize way, meaning the contract provide the information to the token when it's rendered (you mostly need a custom contract right now to do that) -> you can call an API somewhere, to get the information and render

I am planning quite some changes in the next months. Custom erc721 for creators, migration contract for people who want to transform their token from the shared erc1155, into erc721, new design, new way of minting. Probably no more in-house market and better gestion of series...
2
I would add a small erratum: the contract is not permissionless. It needs beyondnft server to "sign the mint" to allow it.

Watch out for these two 👀
And we're ready! This is the first NFT collaboration I ever did and I couldn't by happier to do it with the code wizard @Yazid. The two objkts each render their output based on the code of the other! hicetnunc.xyz/objkt/209208 hicetnunc.xyz/objkt/209211

Thank you! Yes indeed, we are kind of a "CodePen for NFTs". So you'll definitely find quite some different interactive NFTs here beyondnft.io
