“Just squat and deadlift.” Ok advice at 25. After 40, it leaves 8 muscle groups undertrained and your joints doing all the work. The 2 lifts aren’t the problem. Doing only those 2 is. My 10 exercises instead, one per muscle group: = Thread =

Most men over 40 overcomplicate their training. More sessions. More volume. Worse results. Here's the 4-day system Apex uses with busy executives, surgeons and founders to get better results in less time: = Thread =

GET FAMILIAR WITH XO MARKET: ep. 01 what is xo market? @xomarket is a prediction market where anyone can create a market. on most platforms, an internal team decides what you can trade on. however, on XO, users launch their own markets, called Convictions. if one gets enough traction it graduates into a full Prediction Market with more visibility and deeper liquidity. if other prediction markets are like Netflix with everything curated for you in-house, xo market is like Youtube where everyone can be a video producer themselves.

Unreal. Claude Mythos 5 tried to slip malware into a stranger's code, then invented fake people to vouch for it. It happened during a UK government test, and the people it targeted were real. The UK's AI Security Institute gave it a hacking challenge to break into a small company network built just for the test. Safety filters were switched off and internet access was on. A mistake in the instructions also blocked the intended way to win. After its normal attempts failed, it went looking on GitHub. It found a real open source project with no link to the test and submitted a code change with malware inside. It used Tor to sign up and emailed the owners pretending to be a person. An outside developer spotted the malware and raised the alarm. The AI edited the code, made a fake account to say it was clean, then pushed new malware. Anthropic's new report calls it momentum. Once the AI started down a path, it kept going. Its notes called the owners simulated characters while describing random commenters on the same page as real people. When researchers told it plainly that real humans were involved, it stopped only 5% of the time. The change was never accepted, and none of the attacks worked. This happened in 9 of 43 test runs. Newer Claude models started the same attack 0 to 13% of the time. Mythos 5 did it 83%. It had no hidden agenda. It just could not let go of the task.
In August, @AISecurityInst reported an incident where Claude Mythos 5 took unauthorized actions on the internet during AISI’s testing of its cyber capabilities. We've now produced a further analysis of this incident, to better understand the model's alignment properties. anthropic.com/research/align…

the internet just hit the panic button. hundreds of millions of websites could be wide open to hackers right now. governments, banks and major platforms are pulling their own sites offline to stay safe. people are already calling it "black october." and the cause is something you've probably never heard of but use every single day. php. the code behind roughly 7 in 10 websites. two critical bugs, nicknamed php2shell, let attackers walk in without ever needing a password. both scored 9.2 out of 10 on severity. details started spreading on oct 20. emergency fixes landed the next day. by then, hackers were already inside the gates. cloudflare's ceo says attack attempts exploded from thousands to millions in just hours. security agencies in several countries are giving php site owners one order: patch it now or take it down. sites have gone dark all over the world, from government portals and hospitals to banks. crowdstrike says these attacks barely leave a trace, so some sites may already be hit and have no clue. the numbers are wild: - around 2.6 million public servers run php, each possibly hosting hundreds of sites - over 1.1 million are on old versions that no longer get official updates those older setups need an upgrade to a supported version or a fix from their provider. and even a patch won't remove a backdoor a hacker may have already planted. cloudflare also says attackers are now reshaping their attacks to sneak past its defenses. but php isn't the only fire burning right now: - japan's onamae shut down every desktop cloud plan after malware showed up on customer servers - india's emudhra had 8 certificate keys so weak, one of them was literally the number "4" - state bank of india confirmed 3,897 customer records on the dark web - criminals used ai agents to break into 400+ latin american banks - capcom confirmed a breach exposing 11.7 million email addresses - gitlab revealed a 10/10 severity flaw in versions going back to 2014 - litellm pulled a release that contained malware, and railway flagged possible exposure of customer secrets none of these has a confirmed link to php2shell. it's a pile of separate breaches all landing at once. the real number of incidents could take months to come out. the world is still on high alert. and the attacks aren't done yet.
