I have to double down on something I said about #Wildwood last night, and it’s about how right at the dawn of new technology, you often get a masterpiece from the old.
Just as jet fighters emerged, you had piston-engined monsters like the P-51 Mustang.
Just as the likes of Pixar movies were about to take off, you had that masterful ballroom scene from “Beauty and the Beast” that awed us all.
Well, now with AI taking off, you have the team at @LAIKAStudios gift us something truly amazingly human-made.
I woke up thinking about this film. Don’t sleep on it.
There was a moment during the final battle that made me loudly exclaim “OH😦”
Y'all #Wildwood's PG-13 rating is very well deserved. I'm genuinely surprised at just how much they show in the movie. They pushed that rating to the LIMIT 😭
