SHINee's Choi Minho revealed his grueling schedule of preparing for both a marathon and a triathlon simultaneously. After running 50km the day before the triathlon, he was surprised by his own performance during the race, exclaiming, "Even I think I'm crazy." On the 28th, Choi Minho released a video titled "Minho Preparing for a Marathon and Triathlon Simultaneously" on his YouTube channel. The video captured his swimming and cycling training ahead of the triathlon, as well as his attempts at intervals and variable speed running to improve his marathon time. On the day of the competition, Choi Minho mentioned that his body felt heavy due to the aftereffects of running 50km the previous day. He also expressed concern about not having been able to train enough in swimming. He stood at the starting line, admitting, "I swam three times before coming out." After completing the swimming, cycling, and running sections of the course, he ranked 45th out of 820 total participants. After the race, Choi Minho said, "I am completely satisfied with this result," but expressed disappointment at not standing on the podium. He also shared his experience of struggling against a headwind during the cycling portion. Although he showed signs of exhaustion, saying, "I can't do anything," he stated, "I will challenge myself again." Marathon training followed. Choi Minho completed five sets of intervals, running 3km at a pace of 4 minutes and 10 seconds followed by a recovery of 600m. He then finished a variable speed run training session, covering a total of 20km by running 1km fast followed by 1km recovery. After the training, he shook his head in amazement, remarking, "It was epic." At the end of the video, open water swimming training ahead of the triathlon was also revealed. Choi Minho expressed his determination, saying, “I haven’t been able to prepare much, but I will finish the race with enjoyment.” m.entertain.naver.com/home/a… #MINHO #최민호 #민호 #샤이니민호 #ChoiMinho #Makeithot #MINHO_Makeithot #2026MINHOCONCERT #MEANOFFERAL
