There's overnight success. But before you get to that night, you must learn how to cook concoction rice and drink garri with salt. The root of evil is poverty. The idea that money is the root of all evil is but a mirage. Look at all the beautiful things God created in this world. The places you want to visit, the experiences you want to have, the life you dream of living. And you want to miss them all because you cannot afford them. Even the Bible says, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it. Did God tell you to spend your entire life drowning in suffering? I remember the hymn that says, all things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small. But how bright and beautiful can your life be when poverty is suffocating every dream you have? You think poverty is here to play with you? Imagine they announce today that 2 years from now, every poor person must die. Will you be among those waiting for death or among those who fought their way out? Well, the choice is yours. But listen to the wisdom of the ancients. Seneca wrote, it is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a great deal of it. Epictetus thought, first say to yourself what you would be, and then do what you have to do. Marcus Aurelius reminded himself, waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one. And Aristotle's philosophy reminds us that excellence is cultivated through habit, not achieved through a single act. Now understand this. Time will not wait for you. Poverty will not disappear because you are tired of suffering, and wishing for a better life will not make it happen. Not everyone will become rich. Not everyone will achieve greatness. But a man who keeps learning, working, building, and moving forward gives himself a chance to meet his luck. You may not control where your story begins, but you must decide whether you will fight to change how it ends. Get up, build something, change your story.
