Divin Mubama is celebrating his 22nd birthday today. Newham born Divin had been at West Ham since he was 8 years of age and went on to play in 18 first team games, scoring 1 goal. Played in the FA Youth Cup winning team at Arsenal in 2023 and is now on loan at Southampton - from @mancity - and came on as a late sub against us yesterday ⚒️

David Burrows is 58 today. He came to West Ham in Sept 1993, along with Mike Marsh as part of the deal that took @JulianDicks3050 to Liverpool. A year and 39 games later, Burrows moved to Everton as part of the deal that saw @TonyCottee9 return to Upton Park ⚒️

Mexican International Captain Edson Alvarez is 29 today. @EdsonAlvarez19 came to West Ham in August 2023 - for £35million - from Ajax on a 5 year contract and has played 74 games in Claret and Blue. El Machin was at Fenabache on loan but is now back at West Ham ⚒️

Adrian Whitbread celebrated his 55th birthday yesterday. Adrian came to West Ham from relegated Swindon at the end of Billy Bonds days as West Ham Manager. Joey Beauchamp - who couldn't settle in London - went the other way in the part-exchange deal. Adrian played in 14 games ⚒️

I like to mention older players that are no longer with us, as one of the family may see it and smile. Brian Rhodes was a West Ham goalkeeper from 1957-63 playing 61 games - a few during the 57-58 Division 2 winning season. Brian was born on this day 1937 but died aged 55 ⚒️

Jimmy Bullard is celebrating his 48th birthday today. @jimmybullard is a massive Hammers fan and spent two years at West Ham but didn't manage to break into the first team. However, as you know Jim, 'Football's always the winner' 😉⚒️

Ukrainian International Andriy Yarmolenko is 37 today and he definitely divided opinion amongst West Ham fans. His 47 International goals confirm what a talented player he is and he will never be forgotten for that extra-time winner against Seville in the Europa League ⚒️ 🇺🇦

'Oh Christian Dailly, I want curly hair to' not many players have their own song but former West Ham Captain Dailly did. He played nearly 200 games for West Ham including the 2005 play-off Final and 2006 FA Cup Final and celebrates his 53rd Birthday today ⚒️
