On this 13th day of September, as we celebrate @GCSAA’s 100th birthday, I happened to run into two fellow members at the airport. A fitting reminder of Col. John Morley’s words: “No life is, or can be, self-existent. We depend upon each other.” #GCSAA100 @MidAtlGCSAA
Today, we celebrate the people behind the course.
Thank you to Superintendents everywhere, and their teams, for the early mornings, long days, attention to detail, and dedication that make this game possible.
We are proud to be @GCSAA members and will continue to support all our friends helping grow the game we love!

As Gil Hanse and team put the finishing touches on their work, the baton is being passed to our outstanding agronomy team at Spanish Bay.
Most holes are now grassed including the opening and closing par-fives that bookend the round while simultaneously framing unforgettable views for guests of The Inn.
Less than six months removed from closing, the transformation of Spanish Bay is more evident by the day.
Music to our ears @SuperTimG132 !

At Briarwood Country Club (Ill.), bunkers were renovated under Jeff Mingay in 2022. @Billy_Bunker and @ProAngleOhio were used to create the bunkers that have vaulted Briarwood up the rankings of best courses in Illinois. All teeing complexes are being renovated this fall.

A little more sod and some clean up work left for @verdesportsco at Olympia Hills GC near San Antonio. Full course irrigation, bunker, and tee renovation turned out great! Check it out if you're ever in the area!
Irrigation design by @ian_hwilliams.
“The renovation includes the strategic repositioning and reconstruction of bunkers using the Better Billy Bunker lining system, green expansions on select holes, fairway refinements, improved drainage infrastructure, and selective tree management. Together, these improvements will enhance course conditions, improve maintenance efficiency, and support more sustainable course operations.”

Pre 2023 project and now…removal, re-route + short cut turf…..the land flows, plays and feels better not to mention the physical “drain” of the bunker ✅ @ASGCA #HurdzanGolf
Couldn't agree more!

Funny how the Stadium Zoysia fairways create an "instant" golf course at False River in Louisiana. The 15th fairway is striping nicely after just three weeks! June greens have been sprigged & grassing continues as bunker work wraps up despite dodging thunderstorms. Looks great!
