If Shapiro is nominated as VP to Harris, expect a lot of coverage of the Trump era changes to the public charge rules that Shapiro opposed as AG.
Those rules, which limited migrants’ access to public services, were then overturned by the Biden/Harris administration.
Add to that Harris’ recorded interview where she advocated for immigrants to receive health care.
When all tied together it paints a very pro illegal immigrant picture where the border is open and migrants are drawn into the country by the promise of free services.
That is the true threat to Medicare, Social Security and Medicade. Their approach will bankrupt these programs making them unavailable to citizens who need them.
