He isn't a god tier writer incapable of making mistakes I think he handles a many in this series poorly
It doesn't make re:zero a bad story it's still great one of the best Isekais but a lot of people act as if tappei writing is flawless and above criticism when it isn't
It's impossible for the ending of Re Zero to not leave a part of the fanbase disappointed. Overall i think it will be an okay ending despite all that.
It will likely get a bit of a bad rep for some stuff being left for side stories.
Tappei gets too dunked on for some bad powerscaling takes. Re:Zero isn't mainly an action series and even those which are 100% dedicated to that also tend to have inconsistent scaling. I wish other authors got this treatment instead of fans gaslighting themselves.
