Indeed, Kazakh trade data strongly suggests that the country is used as an intermediary destination for Russian drone imports. In 2021, before the full-scale invasion began, so few drones were imported into 🇰🇿 that they did not even appear in official import-export data.1/

This made me recall one funny story. Once, while discussing the KZ-NATO partnership in class,I asked one student (who seemed detached from discussion) what the Steppe Eagle was. “A bird,” answered the student😊 Well, not incorrect…But we’re talking abt the military exercise…😅
