ROMs had a purpose: feeding the Gigaverse economy. Now you’re being asked to burn several of them for a JPEG with no yield and potential perks entirely at the team’s discretion.
Trust doesn’t automatically migrate to Ethereum.
This “simplification” looks more like sweeping the past under the rug: previous products become “Legacy,” old utilities disappear, and a fresh narrative takes over.
Not enough ROMs? Top up your points or try the gacha. Miss the window? Your assets are lost.
You’re left holding the past. They get a fresh start.
But congratulations: you’re now an “elite collector.”
I’ve always been very skeptical about what blockchain actually brings to gaming. I thought Gigaverse might finally make me see the light. But apparently, they’re no better than the rest. So far, anyway.
Let’s see what comes next. I’m still curious.

I have a confession to make.
@LucaNetz paid me to give an HONEST review of Abstract Chain.
So, Luca Schnetzle, here it is.
You spent months:
- selling the dream of mass adoption
- encouraging users to farm XP
- developers to build projects
- communities to invest their time, money and trust
You even promised
Abstract would become the biggest L2 “by a Texas mile”
and publicly asked to be held ACCOUNTABLE!
And what did everyone get?
- shutdown
- tens of millions burned
- another Web3 SCAM
The biggest thing Abstract rugged wasn't a token
It was people's TRUST
And before anyone calls me a salty farmer:
I farmed ZERO XP
I invested ZERO dollars
I lost absolutely NOTHING
I simply believe Web3 deserves better than endless promises followed by excuses and money extraction
So Luca, I hope you enjoyed my honest review
Because HONESTY is exactly what your community deserves from you
- a full explanation
- real transparency
- actual accountability
You asked people to hold you accountable
Well, here we are🐧🤡
I’ll keep an eye on this, though I’m never a big fan of launching something new before delivering on what came before. The last things we minted were Giglings, and we all know how that went.
Personally, I’ll judge Gigaverse by its open world.

I know the token’s price isn’t exactly exciting, but I really like what Ethos is trying to build.
Next week, they’re launching a campaign to reward valuable contributions to the platform. I’ll be doing my part.
incentives to use Ethos?
next week we launch Karma Season 1, an evolution of our XP system that rewards key contributors who add value to Ethos in the form of meaningful, quality contributions to earn $WHUF.
Your hard earned streaks weren't completely useless..

I thought Ledger announcing a new product in the current circumstances was a joke.
And this isn’t their first major scandal: there was already the data leak. I know people who suffered because of it.
You have to admit, they’ve got some nerve…
I wouldn’t touch this thing with a ten-foot pole.

Congrats to the team on a creative whitelist campaign and a successful mint!
We all hope the game will live up to it, but seeing what the team has already delivered, I’m not too worried.
To celebrate, I jumped back into MOG for a quick run and hit a jackpot at X5… Would’ve preferred that back when I was playing at X100 ^^

⚠️ @YieldFields_RH Public Service Announcement - Scam Token
We're aware that there's a Fake/Scam "Yield" token that's being airdropped to Deed holders.
This token is NOT from our project.
Don't get scammed - stay vigilant!
Last month, the contracts powering Magic Eden were exploited to the tune of millions of dollars. I was lucky enough to be in a position to rescue a good portion of that, but it highlighted the danger of leaving approvals open as adversaries get access to better and better tools for finding holes in contract logic.
Today, Blur announced that they will be deprecating their frontend.
I've investigated Blur and found no exploits within the current contracts. However, the Blur contracts are upgradable, meaning that they could turn malicious at any time.
They currently have eight figures worth of NFTs approved to them. The safety of those NFTs effectively hinges on the opssec of the Blur team, which appears to be disbanding at this time.
If you have open approvals to Blur, I recommend you remove them immediately. Use revoke.cash or similar to ensure that you are protected in case of a contract exploit or later upgrade.
Don't wait. The time is now.
This is why I like Ethos. Serpin is a transparent builder who explains his decisions and owns his mistakes. Refreshing to see that in crypto.

Oh look, @pudgypenguins completely cooked.
They tried to buy my silence for a pathetic $2500 through their little errand boy @Solana_Emperor and got told to go fuk themselves under the penguin’s tail.
Tell your owners they can shove that pocket change straight up their penguin ass.
Well, well, well.
So, out of pure desperation @pudgypenguins team decided to order some paid promo from Adam?
Personally, I believe every single word, because nobody from Pudgy would ever lie, especially the people close to @LucaNetz or Luca himself. Abstract community can confirm it.
I wonder who the next whale from the shadows will be, the one who suddenly creates a fresh wallet and dumps another 1 million dollars into this dead scam project to buy it out.
It's a waste, man.
It’s time to use Ethos and speak honestly about our experiences. Holding people accountable might help us avoid more disappointments down the road.

We’re seeing tweets from KOLs along the lines of: “Abstract is shutting down, but Pudgy Penguins isn’t.”
Yes, they’re different businesses. But they belong to the same group, and Luca himself explained that Igloo was drawing on resources from the Pudgy business to fund Abstract.
So what makes people so confident that everything is fine on the Pudgy side?
Following the announcement of Abstract’s shutdown, I suspect Igloo may also be losing money across its other businesses.
Now more than ever, I take Luca Netz’s statements with a large grain of salt. The $50M in revenue he mentioned for 2025 was a forecast, not an audited financial result. And revenue ≠ profit.
Without figures on margins, expenses, and cash reserves, it’s impossible to assess the group’s financial health.
Take Abstract: Igloo decided to stop funding it after losing tens of millions of dollars, according to Luca.
When I put that alongside the small amount allocated to supporting the floor prices of Pudgy assets, I wonder how much money is actually left in the coffers.
That doesn’t prove they’re running out of cash, but it does make me question the financial strength they project.
Let’s talk about the brand too. In Europe, my impression is that Pudgy Penguins is still largely unknown outside the Web3 community. To me, the characters look like plenty of generic penguins you can already find everywhere. My daughter has a few toys like that, I’ll show you if you’re interested ^^
In the US, how much does that Walmart presence cost, and what are the commercial terms? Are the products tucked away on shelves or featured on endcaps? More importantly, what are the actual sales and margins? Getting stocked by a retailer doesn’t prove a business is profitable.
I also saw a picture circulating of a Times Square billboard. I don’t remember the price (and it’s not even that expensive), but buying advertising exposure doesn’t prove people recognize the brand or buy its products.
If I were exposed in any way to Igloo-related assets, I’d stay vigilant. Luca’s statements, just like reassuring tweets from KOLs, are no substitute for verifiable figures on the group’s financial health.
Thanks @0xSLK ^^

📜 What does a Yield Fields Deed actually do?
You don't need one to farm. Anyone can plant, harvest and sell.
But Deed holders can build on their land, and farmers will want what they make, starting with Fertilizer from their Fert Decks.
Here are the perks of owning a Deed 🧵
Well, Abstract is over. Not a surprise, but it sucks.
We lost money and time, but there were some good moments too.
Changing my PFP, it’s been a while.
See you around elsewhere.
Much love
A quick rundown on Abstract and OpenWorld :
The RWA partnership announced in December 2025 is still referenced in an SEC filing dated August 26, 2026. It covers the joint development and commercialization of a tokenization platform with Abstract Foundation. However, that reference provides no new update on the product’s progress.
sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/…
Since then, OpenWorld has completed its merger with VerifyMe and begun trading on Nasdaq under OPNW. Its own shares are planned to be available on Figure OPEN, which runs on Provenance. That is a separate agreement from the one with Abstract.

OpenWorld also plans to acquire Blocksight, an AI agent platform designed to support asset tokenization and ongoing servicing across multiple blockchains. The acquisition has yet to be finalized.

Things are moving forward on OpenWorld’s side. But what exactly is Abstract’s role today? What product, what integrations, what timeline?
Financial infrastructure built for institutions doesn’t materialize out of thin air. It’s hard to be convinced by a bio change and old statements.
Alright Abstract, we’re mostly waiting for you to explain what you’re building
