This is a major development. Let me count the ways: 1. It portends a world where access to the internet requires ID of some sort.
“Porn sites will offer three or four choices of age verification system, with one being that you show up with your passport at your local corner shop or Sainsbury’s and get a card with a one-off unique identifying number” what could be simpler? metro.co.uk/2019/02/06/porn-…

I could in no way have put it better myself.

No claims are evidenced or from eyewitnesses. Only prior tweet result is unevidenced teapaw.org/6ixbuzztv/status/10859… Recent interview with Toronto homeless by CTV doesn't mention it: teapaw.org/EngageAndChange/status… They have been given 14 days to vacate Gardiner though: cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/c…
You've misunderstood me. I'm saying Narcity is misreporting the story. They gave sources for threats and pouring water on belongings, but they didn't give sources for the claim that a cop actually poured water on anyone.

Data Protection if there’s no Brexit deal gov.uk/government/publicatio… Are companies in other EU countries sending yours personal data?
So another round of that popular game "Oops, where's your data?" from Facebook. Does no-one remember the quotes from Randi ("Privacy is dead get over it!") and Mark ("Privacy is no longer a social norm") Zuckerberg? If you value your privacy, stop giving this company your data! teapaw.org/PrivacyMatters/status/…
These latest revelations call for a concerted investigation by data protection regulators around the world wherever Facebook offers its services. @DPCIreland @EU_EDPS teapaw.org/wolfiechristl/status/1…

Hmmm good luck to anyone dealing with the completely undefined terms "lawful content" and "unlawful content" if this goes all the way. It doesn't even state who will get to decide which is which. It honestly just seems like a free speech curtailment waiting to happen. teapaw.org/BrianHonan/status/1002…

🔓 Just found out: over the last 8 years my iOS Safari "leaked" my Safari Favorites bookmarks to every single WiFi hotspot and ISP I was ever connected to, as well as all other machines in the same network... Safari always refreshes the favicon of all your Favorites. – at Flatiron, Manhattan

Absolutely! 100% agree. And this does lead to the conclusion that companies that don't actively work to protect privacy (never mind those that just pay lip service to it) are both anti-democratic and anti-freedom. (looking at you, Facebook, Google, et. al.) teapaw.org/F_Kaltheuner/status/10…
"The NHS does not need any more of our taxes" - Wonderfully thought out response, and beautifully refuted. teapaw.org/juniordrblog/status/99…
An impressively ignorant tweet. From the top then. /thread teapaw.org/DVATW/status/999537142…

Identitarians don't call you "privileged" because you're privileged. They do it because it gives them an excuse to bully you.
