I couldn’t comment under the original post as Kostas blocked me, but I could not be more against Mysten building another bridge right now. Bridging to Sui is still a mess. It's finally improving, and a new first party bridge is the wrong next move. We've seen this before. The original Sui bridge was brutal to use. New bridge infra also gets little outside support, so it ends up fragmenting things even more. Users don't care about the infra. They care whether it works. Are NEAR's confidential intents actually confidential? No. Does anyone care? Also no. It works, and it works well. Here's what Mysten should focus on instead: • Integrate CCTP v2 properly across the network. It just went live on Sui, so let’s expand that hard. • Extend Dynamic Gas across the network so people can pay gas in USDC. • Own the bridging UX on the chain itself, not more infrastructure. I urge Mysten and Sui to put their effort there and Im willing to help as much as I can.
