Olathe Public Schools leaders gathered at the new @sftcyclones (SFT) building for two days to learn together, reflect on last year's survey and academic data, enjoy a team-building activity and plan for academic growth in the 2024-25 school year.
Thank you to SFT staff members for hosting leaders in their new building, as well as the students who came to welcome and cheer on their administrators during their summer break. And a BIG thank you to the incredible staff members who kept things moving at their building while their administrator was out of the office learning. We appreciate YOU!
Collaboration is key in a district of 58 attendance centers, 5,000+ staff members and nearly 29,000 students. We are SO grateful for our administrators and their commitment to student, staff and district success!

Narcissism is a superiority complex. Impostor syndrome is an inferiority complex.
Humility is a commitment to seeing yourself as complex. Itβs about having self-awareness, not lacking self-confidence.
The foundation of humility is accepting that you always have room for growth.

The best teachers donβt seek to be the best teachers; they just seek to be their best self. Same is true of the best leaders. Don't strive to be the best at something, strive to be your best self!

Admin, it may be extra work, but check on your staff individually. Group check-ins are good, but the ones really struggling may not want to speak up in a group setting. Teachers, also check on each other, especially if you know someone is having a tough time. Everyone is exhausted
