Welp after 15 years, I got fired today because my company found out I am day trading and have been making videos in my office lol. Blessing in disguise.
Been wanting to go full time into this for quite some time. And now I am able to do so with 100% of my efforts and take this leap.
Excited and petrified at the same time. ๐
A chart covered in levels creates the illusion of preparation. I would rather mark fewer prices
and know exactly what I need to see at each one.
The moment you stop needing to be right about every trade is the moment you can start focusing on executing well.
The fact that you can admit you're struggling with trading puts you ahead of everyone pretending they've figured it all out.
You can take trading seriously without asking it to replace your salary, especially if its a good salary.
Not every valid setup deserves the same risk. I reserve $150 for A+ conditions and reduce to
$100 when the setup is B+.
The mature trading decision is sometimes closing the platform before the first buy or sell order. Capital is not the only thing worth protecting.
Most traders blow up not because they don't know how to trade, but because they don't know when to stop trading.
The most disciplined trader in the room isn't always the one making the most money.
Sometimes it's the one who knows when to stop.
I track more than entries and exits. I want to know whether I followed the plan, respected the
stop, sized correctly, and stayed inside my rules.
If you can take a loss, close your charts, and go enjoy the rest of your day...
You're developing a skill most traders desperately need.
Reducing risk on a lower-quality setup is not permission to lower standards. Smaller risk
cannot turn a mediocre idea into a necessary trade.
Quitting your six-figure job to become a full-time trader without a proven track record isn't financial freedom.
It's financial Russian roulette.
The correct position size is the one that lets you follow the plan without monitoring every tick
like it owes you an explanation.
No post just dropped on my substack for free. Get yourself some sauce. ๐ฅซ๐๐ซ

I've made money trading.
I've lost money trading.
But the biggest losses weren't always financial.
Sometimes it was the time, confidence, and peace of mind I gave up along the way.
