Considerable time has passed since the 2024 Globiance V2 staking software exploit, yet a massive amount of user assets remains indefinitely frozen with zero comprehensive resolution. We demand full transparency and an official public response from both Globiance and XDC Network regarding their commitments to the community: 1. Fulfillment of the 100% Insurance Guarantee (Globiance) In Globiance’s official Q&A (Q13), CEO Oliver Marco La Rosa explicitly stated: "Globiance provides 100% insurance on hot wallet contents... If Globiance's hot wallet is hacked... we will cover 100% of the funds." A full return of staked XDC assets was promised. When and how will this guaranteed 100% coverage be fully honored? 2. Broken Rescue Fund Promises & Shifted Narratives (XDC & Globiance) Initially, XDC leadership indicated they were investigating and would establish a Rescue Fund. However, following behind-the-scenes, non-public communications between Globiance and XDC, Globiance abruptly reversed its position, claiming "no XDC was stolen." Shortly after, XDC's promised Rescue Fund was quietly erased as if it never existed. If no XDC was stolen, why are users' assets still locked? 3. Ecosystem Endorsement & Master Node Oversight (XDC Network) Globiance was not an isolated platform; it controlled ~22% of the total XDC Master Node set at its peak and was actively promoted under XDC’s official ecosystem roadmap. Official documentation even noted that staked Master Node coins remained under "XDC Network's control and responsibility." As the core protocol that endorsed user onboarding, XDC Network cannot claim zero involvement or maintain silence. 4. On-Chain Transfers & KYC Infrastructure Security Critical concerns remain regarding the movement of ~70M XDC transferred to external exchanges (e.g., Kucoin) under the guise of market-making liquidity, alongside severe vulnerabilities in Master Node KYC data privacy. We demand audited transparency regarding these liquidity transfers and infrastructure safeguards.
