Multicast is often thought of as one-to-many data transmission. Which is true, it stands apart from unicast which is always a one-to-one.
The true power of multicast is not in an individual sending data to multiple recipients. It is in a community of many senders sending data to many recipients simultaneously with orders of magnitude, lower bandwidth requirements and lower latency.
This is how multicast works in traditional finance, this is how multicast will work in crypto as well.

I think one of the most important lesson my first two years in crypto taught me.
You need to adopt WAGMI mentality to win. There’s no room to be competitive with people you went to school or college with for ego or personal reasons. You need their help if you’re going to succeed.
TradFi teaches PvP because you’re fighting for a shrinking pie. That industry is structured as a bunch of silo’d companies who don’t collaborate. It’s not truly an interdependent network.
The opposite is true in crypto, which is why a scarcity mentality kills too. Crypto really IS a big network, and actions have consequences across the entire network almost immediately. In a sparse field, the value of an additional productive node is massive. And whatever anyone says about the internet, there is rarely strong trust created than sharing tough IRL experiences with someone who can relate.
We’re not fighting for a shrinking pie. Act like it, and you’ll go a lot further.
