Malachi Lawrence. No Matter What
Christian Parker is giving Cowboys D a makeover. What will that mean for the draft?
“Can’t go wrong taking big, long, athletic guys,” a source said. “That’s what we want to get back to.”
On Cowboys' move to 3-4, beginning with DC "so detailed" in vision:

College athlete gets shot five times by Oregon police, who mistook him for his knife-wielding brother.
21-year-old Maverick Lyon was seen emerging from his home before being shot by police after he escaped from his knife-wielding brother.
"You guys shot the wrong guy... he was holding me hostage," Lyon said after being shot.
Maverick's brother, Dakota, had relapsed on drugs following knee surgery and began acting delusional. After the brothers had breakfast together, Dakota grabbed a knife and held Maverick hostage.
At some point, Maverick picked up a kitchen knife himself to protect himself from his brother.
Their father, who was not home, became concerned when Maverick wasn't returning his calls and checked the Ring camera to see Dakota threatening his brother with a knife.
He called the police and told them that Maverick was wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and Dakota was shirtless.
When the brothers saw an officer in the backyard, Maverick decided to make a run for it to the front door but was met with police gunfire.
He was seen dropping the knife as he emerged from the home.
Maverick spent a month in the hospital, had part of his lung, his appendix, and his spleen removed, and needed digestive system reconstructive surgery.
He had played lacrosse at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire.
Dakota has been sentenced to over six years in prison. He feels remorseful and says he wishes he had been shot and not his brother.
Maverick has launched a lawsuit against the Albany Police Department.
Jason Kelce is rich me
Kylie Kelce reveals she walked out on her first meeting with Jason after he got so drunk he fell asleep at the bar just 45 minutes into their date.
Kylie Kelce: “He famously fell asleep at the table after quite a few drinks.”
Joanna Gaines: “What do you do when that happens?”
Kylie Kelce: “I left.”
Joanna Gaines: “Was that really your first date?”
Kylie Kelce: “It was the first time I ever met him. We met on Tinder, but my friend and I thought it was a catfish. We came to the conclusion that it had to be a catfish. There’s no way.”
Joanna Gaines: “Was he kind of drunk before the date?”
Kylie Kelce: “He was obliterated when I got there. He’d been at the Eagles Christmas party with his friends. Forty-five minutes after I got to the bar, he was asleep with his head down on the table.”
Joanna Gaines: “Unbelievable.”
Kylie Kelce: “My friend came for safety purposes, but also because if we were going to laugh about it, we wanted to both have been there for the story. We just said, ‘It was nice to meet you,’ and left. His friends carried him home.”
Joanna Gaines: “Oh my goodness.”

When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote.
Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.⚖️

JUST IN - Thomas Massie will trigger a House vote next week to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth over what he calls an illegal war with Iran, with multiple GOP sources saying the measure is likely to pass.
Absolutely insane turn around man. Good for him
The Giants were unable to get a contract extension done with CB Deonte Banks, per @BreakingBigBlue.
They reportedly offered Banks a deal similar to what Greg Newsome just signed with the Giants.
Banks is set to hit free agency next offseason and if the two parties fail to reach a deal by then, the Giants could utilize the franchise tag on him.

For the one millionth time: Ben Johnson was never going to come to Dallas. That goes for a job, for an interview, for vacation, or a sandwich.
Plenty of criticisms worth leveling at the Cowboys, but that's not one. Wasn't an option.
Replying to @1053thefan @BobbyBeltTX
Hiring Ben Johnson would've took the spotlight off Jerry....🤷🏿♂️

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis rips Republicans for voting against the release of the Epstein files and for not banning Congressional stock trading.
"This is close to an extinction-level event for Republicans..." he said of the midterm elections.
"I'm watching the World Series. I see the ad... We ran as Republicans on saying we need to [release the Epstein files]."
"And then you actually have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all this horrific stuff on her desk..."
