Le jour ou les européens vont comprendre que les USA lâchent l'Europe sur l'Ukraine car ils ont une autre priorité absolue qui est très consommatrice en cash... Et les américains leur gros atout c'est qu'ils savent couper leurs pertes
This is the most exciting time at NASA since the Kennedy era.
@POTUS has given us the mission: return to the Moon, build the Moon Base, pioneer nuclear spaceflight, advance extraordinary science, and win the new space race.
It was great to see so many of those builders, scientists, and technologists recognized at the Golden Age of Science summit this week.
The President recognizes that American leadership requires taking on the big, bold endeavors that define American exceptionalism and empower the people with the talent and determination to turn those ambitious objectives into reality.

110 humanoid robots. One synchronized performance. A GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS.
110 AGIBOT A3 humanoid robots danced in unison, setting the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS for the most humanoid robots dancing simultaneously.
Beyond the spectacular light show, the performance showcased the coordination capabilities behind large-scale robot deployments. Powered by UWB centimeter-level positioning and the LinkBots multi-robot control system, all 110 robots performed in precise synchronization, completing the challenge without a single error.
A new milestone in multi-robot coordination — where engineering precision meets the art of motion.

We’re introducing Hydrogen-1.0, our first open-weight model for scientific research. We post-trained GLM-5.3 (@Zai_org) on our internal scientific data, lab records, and discovery trajectories.
It scores 38.3% on FrontierScience-Research vs GPT-6-Astra’s 33.3% and scores 93.0% on GPQA-Diamonds.
We believe science should be open, collaborative, and democratized, rather than proprietary. Only open weights let researchers inspect, adapt and build on the unprecedented speed of AI growth. There are many recent models named by chemical elements, but we believe Hydrogen-1.0 is the first aiming towards and open scientific superintelligence for discovery. 🧵

More context :
A single Waymo car uses 4 H100 GPUs just to drive itself. That is about $200k worth of compute inside one car.
Right now, the Nvidia Orin self-driving modules used in Mercedes pack, and Tesla FSD use 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Most people think better tech means we will need less memory over time. The exact opposite is happening.
Tesla's upcoming AI5 chip will jump to 96GB, and the AI6 chip is going straight to 144GB.
Even your smart fridge and smart TV need RAM now.
Soon, literally every physical object around us will have memory built into it.
And as robotics takes off, those memory numbers are going to get much bigger.
There is no way around the hardware bottleneck:
If AI robots run on the cloud, you need massive data centers full of memory.
If AI robots run on-device, you have to pack huge amounts of RAM directly into the machine.
Either way, the world is going to need an insane amount of memory.
This is not a problem we can fix easily.
Hate to break it to you, but the global hardware shortage has not even started yet.
Right now, only 1% of humanity is burning any real amount of AI tokens. The rest are just using free accounts once in a while to ask dumb questions like "Who would win in a fight between a baby seal and 300 hamsters?"
And like Elon said, most RAM will not even go into data centers. It will go into Physical AI, which is robotics.
That is because robotics is the only thing that can actually boost human productivity in a real way.
People on X freak out every time AI solves a hard math problem, while people in the real world just go on with their lives like nothing happened. Meanwhile, robotics is already taking over factories and changing the physical world.
Imagine when these robots start replacing our daily chores. How much more RAM and compute will we need then?
Like I have said many times, building a new fab to make RAM takes at least 5 years, and supply is already fully booked out until 2029.
Even if the so-called AI bubble pops, this massive RAM shortage is not going away.
Starting next year, even the new iPhone might be too expensive for most people to afford.

Demis Hassabis explained why drug discovery is the problem he most wants AI to fix, and the numbers surprised me:
"On average, you know, it takes like 10 years to develop a drug."
"Only about 10% of drugs actually get through all the clinical stages."
His spin-out, Isomorphic Labs, builds on AlphaFold to design drugs end to end. He says it's already running 18 or 19 drug programs, from heart disease to cancer.

The construction of AI data centers is going to make PC parts even harder to get soon.
Both Nvidia and Intel are shifting their production focus from consumer parts to AI data center components, with Nvidia quietly pulling some high-end GPUs off store shelves.

We asked Mistral Large 4 to show what happens when you break a molecule. ⚛️
With a short prompt, it wrote a quantum chemistry SCF solver from scratch, validated its output, and built a 3D view around it.
Le Chonk also understand chemistry enough to independently choose how to break the molecule and what orbitals to show, without further input. 🧵
