I am very excited to introduce EPOCH Basketball, my own brand new NBA stats website! This site provides top tier advanced stats from 1980 to today, using REAL POSSESSION-LEVEL RAPM back to 1985 to inform its impact metrics for every season. It also has high quality single-game metrics like xPTS (the best single game value metric available), which measures the points a player added to the margin in a single game, along with Win Probability Added, and Shot Quality (based on tracking data back to 1997). The site also predicts every game of the 2026-27 season. Players get projected box scores for each game, and a simulation of the rest of the season, updated every night, gives every team’s projected record, playoff odds and title odds. In past seasons, our pre-game win probabilities have beaten tied both ESPN and the Vegas closing line. Each metric has been thoroughly validated against every other top-tier metric, from EPM and DARKO to xRAPM.
