Jesus stresses the urgency of being reconciled with anyone who has offended us and with whom our relationship is fractured. Take the initiative. Be the one who offers forgiveness. It will bring you peace. Do not wait until tomorrow. Today is the time to act.

Each of us is the result of a thought of God.
Each of us is willed,
each of us is loved,
each of us is necessary.

The crowd followed Jesus and sought his healing. Our Lord, however, responded to each individual with compassion and his undivided attention. Today, do not miss the person in front of you who needs your time, help, and encouragement. Let him or her know how much you care.

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.
-St. Teresa of Avila
Deacons Dan, Luke, Ron, and Felix spent the past several weeks on pilgrimage in the Holy Land with their brother deacons from Mount St. Mary’s Seminary! It was an amazing experience! Here they are on the Sea of Galilee! They were also blessed to be joined by Fr. Jim Bors!
“Each of you has a personal vocation which He has given you for your own joy and sanctity. When a person is conquered by the fire of His gaze, no sacrifice seems too great to follow Him and give Him the best of ourselves.” Pope Benedict XVI

Love is patient,
Love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love bears all things,
Endures all things.
Love never fails.
-1 Cor 13:4-8

God has created me
To do Him some definite service.
He has committed some work to me
which He has not committed to another.
I have my mission.
He has not created me for nothing.
I shall do good, I shall do His work.
Therefore, I will trust Him.
-St John Henry Newman
