Can’t help but wonder if it was true Joe T was speaking to grandma? Then I wonder if the players family get help attending tournament games if needed? Then I wonder if it’s legal to help said family get to the games if needed? Seems like a nice fundraiser idea? Just saying!

I once asked a dear friend who has already crossed 70 and is gently stepping toward 80, “What changes do you feel in yourself these days?” His answer stayed with me… and I think it will stay with you too. He said, After spending my life loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children and my friends, I have finally learned to truly love myself. I realized I am not Atlas. The world does not rest on my shoulders. I stopped bargaining with the vegetable seller. A few extra coins won’t hurt me, but they might help him send his little girl to school. I tip the waitress more than expected. The extra might make her smile after a long, tiring day. I no longer stop the elderly mid-story to say, “You’ve told me this before.” Let them relive their memories. Those moments keep their hearts alive. I’ve stopped correcting people even when I know they’re wrong. Peace is far more precious than proving a point. I give compliments without holding back. They light up not just the other person’s day, but mine too. I don’t stress about a spot on my shirt or a wrinkle in my clothes. Who I am speaks louder than what I wear. I walk away from those who don’t value me. They may not see my worth, but I do. I don’t play the dirty game of the rat race. I am not a rat, and life is not a race for me anymore. I no longer hide my emotions. They are what make me human. I choose relationships over ego. Ego builds walls. Relationships build homes. I live each day like it could be my last, because one day, it will be. And above all, I do what makes me happy. Because my happiness is my own responsibility. Happiness is always a choice. So why wait until we are 70 or 80 to live like this? Why not start now? At any age. At any stage. If you’re reading this today, maybe this is your sign to begin…. ❤️ ✨Unknown

"Their owner passed away alone in his apartment. Nobody found him for three days. The dogs waited the whole time." When animal control finally arrived, Max and Buddy were sitting by the front door. Not destructive. Not panicked. Just sitting. Waiting. Doing what he had always taught them to do. They came to our shelter with nothing. No records. No vet history. No family contact. Just each other. And one old tennis ball that somebody thought to grab on the way out. That was eleven days ago. Every morning they sit at the kennel door and wait. Every time they hear footsteps they both stand up. Every time those footsteps pass — they go back and lie down together. They don't know he's not coming. They just know he always came back before. Max is 6. Buddy is 5. Both healthy. Both gentle. Both heartbreakingly good dogs. Neither one will do well separated. They have never spent a night apart. They were somebody's whole world. Now they need somebody to be theirs. If you are in the USA and you have room in your home and your heart — please share this until it reaches the right person. They've already waited long enough. Drop a ❤️ for Max and Buddy. And please — SHARE. One share could be everything.

As an Iranian watching this rescue mission unfold, I was praying the American pilot would make it out alive, not just for him, but so the Islamic Republic could not use him as a bargaining chip or claim some twisted “victory.” At the same time, I felt a deep envy. Your government sent elite special forces, million-dollar aircraft, and moved heaven and earth to bring one American home. No hesitation. No excuses. In Iran, the regime uses human shields and recruited child soldiers to clear minefields during the Iran-Iraq war. They treat their own people like disposable tools. They are now recruiting child soldiers as we speak. The Islamic Republic has zero regard for human life. That’s the brutal difference. One side risks everything to save their own. The other sacrifices their own to stay in power. This hits hard when you have lived under both realities.

Koch postgame on how McCollum has made him a better player in a year’s time: “I think a lot of it is defense. Last year, I couldn’t guard a stool. I have more confidence in guarding, pressuring people, getting deflections. It’s confidence he instills in everybody he coaches.”
Cooper Koch has been so freaking good in the Tournament.

Tech support to the rescue... A young woman who submitted a tech support message presumably did it as a joke. Then she got a reply that was way too good to keep to herself. The query: Dear Tech Support, Last year, I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications and intimacy, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as: NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf 4.1 Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, Desperate The response: Dear Desperate, First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: I thought you loved me. html and try to download Tears 6.2. Do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta version. Whatever you do, DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Mother-In-Law 1.0 as it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources. In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0. Good Luck! Tech Support

I own a small bakery. Business has been slow. Rent is up. I was thinking about closing. Last Friday, a teenager came in. He looked nervous. He counted out change for a cookie. He was short 50 cents. "It's okay," I said. "Take it." He ate it at a table, looking at his math homework. He looked stuck. I used to be a math tutor. I walked over. "Quadratic equations?" He nodded. "I don't get it." I sat down and helped him for 20 minutes. He got it. He left smiling. The next day, he came back with two friends. They bought cookies. The day after that, five kids came. Apparently, he told the school, "The lady at the bakery helps with homework." Now, my bakery is the after-school hang-out spot. It's loud. It's messy. There are backpacks everywhere. Yesterday, I found a note in the tip jar. It was wrapped around a $20 bill. "Thanks for helping my son pass math. A Mom." I'm not closing the bakery. I think I finally found my purpose. It's not cookies. It's community.
