Without really thinking it through, I’ve been reading Prophet Song, a harrowing novel of descent into totalitarian dictatorship. Neither my bedtime read, nor waking frequently to check results, made for a good night’s sleep #USElections2024 search.app/WbiHzi19hbMyDmv29

My ancestors were Lincolnshire farm workers for many centuries. Wonderful to see vivid images of their labour in the Luttrell Psalter - part of Medieval Women exhibition at ⁦@britishlibrary⁩ search.app/NCST6CcDqAxB2Kre6

Not a big fan of #Halloween but brought up short by this house I walk by every day. The squalor of the body bag hanging over the dustbin is genuinely disturbing

Over 30 years ago I visited @PlanetreeLib @Planetree in San Jose. It was very influential on work I did on health information. Sad to see it’s just closed, so this morning I wore the running shirt they gave me for @claphamparkrun @parkrunUK

Did my first #ParkRun this morning. Why haven’t I done this before? Really nice atmosphere with friendly people of all ages & abilities. They say it’s not a race but I admit I was chuffed to win my age category @parkrun @parkrunUK

I’ve become a big fan of @cmatbaby this year but maybe a bit weird to get this ā€œaction dollā€. Love that she’s commissioned it herself though. search.app/Q7knxAcYLER8CSNz7
