The Titans just made the WRONG kind of NFL history
Tennessee's 27-24 loss to Cleveland extends its drought without back-to-back wins to 65 games, tying the NFL record set by the 2014–18 Browns.
The Titans haven't won consecutive games since November 2022.
🤯 Here's the crazy part: Even if Tennessee wins its next TWO games, it won't end the drought until Game 67
That means the Titans are now mathematically guaranteed to surpass the NFL record for most consecutive games without back-to-back victories.
That doesn’t sound good. Not sure why he’d think they have to play perfect when he’s got league MVP CJ Stroud to pick them up.
'Not a good feeling,' #Texans Will Anderson Jr., on frustration of overtime loss to #Giants and says big-picture it's as if defense needs to play 'perfect' in this scheme to play winning football

Bargate is solidified.
BCB Takeover @ Bar near the stadium. 8am-11:30am. Full breakfast buffet. Open bar. Ticketed event only. Chicago Trip Packages will launch this coming week.

What is Bargate? Planning on traveling to this game but haven’t bought game tix yet.
Why @Airbnb will eventually burn to the ground.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?
Yes. Trying to finalize the bargate as we speak. Game tix and Bargate packages launch next week (hoping). Nashville plans released too.
Hey @BoldCityCap do you know if you'll have a package with game tickets for the Chicago away trip? Booked my flight only so far.
Wild.
The NFL launched an investment fund called 32 Equity back in 2013 with $1 million from each team owner.
Team owners have doubled down several times since, and 32 Equity has now raised more than $250 million.
The strategy is simple: the NFL invests in companies, helps them grow through NFL deals (think: data, licensing, sponsorships), and then benefits as a shareholder, profiting off both sides of the transaction.
In 2017, the NFL acquired a 3% stake in Fanatics at a $3.17 billion valuation. Fanatics works with the NFL on everything from merchandise and trading cards to hospitality and retail, and is now a $30 billion company.
Other investments include Hyperice, CLEAR, NOBULL, Skillz, Genius Sports, EverPass, and Appetize, with multiple companies producing nine-figure returns.
Now the NFL is doubling down again, announcing yesterday that it is partnering with private equity giant General Atlantic ($130B AUM) on a new investment fund.
By becoming a general partner in this fund, the NFL will get paid to manage other people's money (management fees and carry), and team owners won't have to share any of that money with players (because private equity investments aren't included in revenue sharing).
Today's newsletter breaks down the details.

I mean… I hate the Titans too.

Missouri State is a public university funded by American taxpayers. Their men’s soccer team has 27 players. 26 of them are from other countries. 1 American.
Is this what “college sports” looks like now? @Kayceeunplugged reports on a troubling trend.

Anyone going to the Turnpike show Saturday at The Amp? @JackSYoung2
Pretty excited about some of the new @DTWDoriginals hats that launch starting this week.
If you come in my mentions telling me that you think a single NFL organization would take Drake Maye over Trevor Lawrence RIGHT NOW, you should probably be blocked for being so ignorant that it’s scary.

Wait.. the Chargers are 0-6? I was told Justin Herbert was destined to be the Greatest of All Time.
The reason to fire Mike McDaniel goes beyond the Chargers’ 0–6 record, writes @ConorOrr si.com/nfl/reason-fire-mike-…
