The Ghost Keeper

Below is a picture of my son who sadly took his own life in March 2024. My message this morning is one of appeal and understanding. The greatest loss of being a parent is to bury your children before yourself. There were no signs of the mental distress he was going through, we were close and spoke about everything. I believed I was doing the right thing as a dad, listening and talking no matter how uncomfortable the conversation became. The conversation never once touched on suicide or how we both felt about the subject. When I got the call from Luke's girlfriend, it floored me, it took my breath away and instantly something inside of me died with him. To all the parents out there, the siblings and the friends of the young community! I implore you to speak up, intervene or guide someone you may know who is suffering. The smile or the laughter you see or hear, may not be genuine.. if you have doubts, talk please. I will forever punish myself and I will blame myself for Luke's death, it may not be the case but it's how I feel. I do not want anyone to go through the devastation and life shattering impact of suicide. Please, all I ask is for everyone to share what I have said today, reach out and help anyone you may feel is struggling. Politics!! Whether you look at it locally or globally, it seems like we are living through a continuous cycle where the same structural problems repeat themselves without ever reaching a resolution. It's stuck in a loop!! "Ctrl-alt-del" is required 🤔

Today on Remembrance Sunday, we gather in our communities to look back with thanksgiving and deep sorrow. We honour those whose lives were given and taken away in world wars and conflicts past and present. As we wear our poppies and hold our two minute silence, we also pray for the families who continue to live with the pain of bereavement, and the veterans who carry the physical and mental scars of service. May the selflessness of the fallen inspire us all to work tirelessly for peace, harmony, and reconciliation in our world today. "For your tomorrow, we gave our today."

So the BBC this morning are reporting that the shooter in Poland, was influenced by far Right ideology!!

The man was found guilty by a jury of his peers. You 2 gents have your views on this subject, as do I. No need to drag this on any longer, let's all agree to disagree.

So after yesterday's debacle, I received a txt message from my landlord earlier saying that the rent was paid last night!! Maybe after me uploading my tenancy agreement to my UC journal whilst in the interview yesterday triggered it. It's one less thing to worry about now.

Anyone who supports Russell Brand does not deserve the time of day. The man was a predator and used his celebrity status to carry out his attacks. Good riddance to bad rubbish!! Woman deserve so much better than this!! Rape has become so blasé in certain circles.

In my opinion, the review team are there to try and take away benefits from genuine claimant's because they are an easier target. Benefit fraudsters are very careful not to raise suspicion concerning their claims, doing everything under the table with no paper trail, I on the other hand have kept my nose clean, making sure any changes are updated with the DWP, and yet I felt like I was made to feel guilty before we even started. Just the tone of the individual doing the interview felt incompetent and without compassion. It felt like I was already judged as guilty in the eyes of the DWP. A very disappointing experience from a government organisation.

Oh and another thing, they wanted proof of my rental agreement for the flat. All my documents I receive from them come to this address, another thing they weren't too happy about because I uploaded it to my UC journal there and then. I'm fucking raging tonight!!!!!!!
