Thrilled to share my new series with @PuffinBooks! Forgotten Gods: Girl of Fire is a Norse inspired fantasy quest which @asianastroboy summed up as Moana meets God of War. Cover by the ridiculously talented

ALT A snowy landscape in shades of blue and purple with tall fir trees. Three characters are making their way through the golden lit snow in the centre of the image, an older redhaired woman in a cloak, the main character, Liv, a young girl with red hair is in the middle carrying an axe, a third hooded character, possibly male, behind her. An eagle is sweeping through the air behind them. In the background, against a pink sky, looms a mountain which almost appears like a figure with their face turned down.. A blue stone shines on the book spine, in its centre is a Norse rune.

Local author Sue Hutchinson will be at Book Corner on Saturday 29th November, 11am - 1pm, signing her two children's books featuring her Miniature Schnauzer, Bertie. The books are packed with colourful illustrations, and would make lovely gifts for children aged 2-5.

I'm looking forward to appearing at the first Whitby Lit Fest, on a Romance Panel with fellow authors Rowan Coleman and Jess Kitching.
Our event is on Friday 7th November, 12pm at The Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre. Please come along! whitbylitfest.org.uk/event/f…

It's National Bookshop Day; the perfect occasion for buying a book about bookshops from a bookshop. Like this one for example. 👇

35. The Hometown Bookshop
The first of my efforts to read more light-hearted stuff than normal; a cozy vignette of small-town life with some real gut punches, featuring some of my fave elements: lots of dialogue; a play within a story and of course, bookshops. A triumph. 👏

Happy Bookshop Day! What better way to celebrate than by using Louise Boland’s Bookshop Tours of Britain to tour the country via indie bookshops?
