As an African,
I've been told it's unlikely for me to speak up against racism toward India. But this man is why I do.
He was my tutor. Years ago, he completely changed my life. Maybe some of you recognize him, if you do, please share this post so it reaches him by surprise!
Now I’m being heavily trolled just for defending his country from racist stereotypes.
India does not deserve online hate mobs and shallow poverty-porn memes simply for asserting its sovereignty or daring to dream of hosting an Olympic Games. This is a hill I am willing to die on
To anyone seeing this across Africa, the Middle East, America, and Asia: don't let Western manufactured propaganda dictate your reality. Before you reduce 1.4 billion people to internet stereotypes, step out of your mom’s basement and travel the world.
You’d be amazed by the brilliant minds you find.
Dear Indian brothers and sisters, CONGRATULATE ME! 😭🙏❤️
I’m officially the first Hindu in my African bloodline!
Today, I told my aunt about my journey to Sanatana Dharma, and she respected it. We even discussed avoiding beef.
I’m still worried how my entire family might though.
Jai Shri Ram! 🙏 🕉️
Please share this post so it reaches knowledgeable Hindus who can help me navigate this journey with wisdom🙏🙏😭
Look, I’m approaching my family one person at a time because I fear some may strongly oppose my personal faith.
What does Sanatana Dharma teach about handling family rejection because of religion? Are there scriptures that can guide me, or Hindus who have faced this and can share their experiences?
As an African who has just begun his Hinduism journey, I a question please🙏😭
Why must Hindus keep fighting to have their religious traditions represented faithfully? Isn’t this the case with Adipurush too?
In 2023, The portrayal of Ramayana characters in Adipurush sparked major criticism. Why do these actions get repeated?
Does historical and religious accuracy no longer matter when our Ithihasas are adapted for cinema?
Please someone help me understand if these details matter less, or am I missing the bigger picture again? 🙏
As an African watching this, I fear that the poison of Islam-fuelled religious hatred has done immeasurable damage in parts of Bangladesh and Pakistan. 💔😭
No sane human should glorify an ideology built by raping Kashmiri Hindus, destruction of another person's idol, or humiliating people’s traditions.
If you believe your God is all-powerful, why should another person's idol threaten you so much that you feel compelled to destroy it?
This is not the future humanity deserves.
Destroying another person's sacred object doesn't prove your God is greater.
If your faith is strong, why should another person's deity and tradition make you feel threatened???
How many generations will it take to heal the damage caused when people are taught to see another person's tradition as an enemy?.
Is modern Hinduism a culture of cowards? Or am I missing the bigger picture 😭🙏
Muslims and Christians openly try to convert Hindus.
Why are Hindus shy to encourage the converts to reflect and come back?
Dear Indian brothers and sisters
without hiding anything, help me understand this.
Look I URGE YOU TO IMMEDIATELY SHARE THIS DISCUSSION! 🙏
Especially If your only response is “Hinduism believes in free will, so Hindus cannot preach,” wow you need to gain knowledge together with me!
Have you heard of Adi Shankaracharya?
The great Adi Shankara dominanted and displace Buddhism and Jainism, aggressively convert the ideological mainstream back to Sanatana Dharma.
So why do some modern Hindus treat confidently sharing Sanatana Dharma as though it contradicts religious freedom?
Who started this idea!! And most importantly why
Can you reply with Jai Shri Ganesha 🙏🕉️
I woke up with deep panic, after dreaming about an elephant😳
I’m an African who has recently embraced Hinduism, I still do not understand the interpretation of this dream.
But in my quick research, I found a Lord Ganesha in Hinduism.
I don’t want to assume my dream have any spiritual significance, but I’m curious to learn.
Hindu brothers and sisters, is there any traditional understanding of dreaming about an elephant? Or should I simply see it as an ordinary dream?
Namaste, everyone! 🙏🕉️
I said there’s no such thing as “Islamic Yoga,” and someone even tagged @vivekagnihotri 😳 But am I really wrong?
I’m honestly shocked that some Hindus themselves seem unaware of this.
You have to be pride and let the world know that "Yoga is rooted in Hinduism”
Why do Hindus stay silent and let other religion rebrand our practice? Am I missing a deeper lesson here?
I believe the world deserves to know When you do Yoga stretches, you are having a connection to a divine rooted in Hinduism.
As an African, I’m proud to be Hindu
Dear Hindu brothers and sisters.
Monu’s story inspired me, especially as an African on my Hinduism journey.
But it has also left me a serious question;
Like what happens, when a devotee makes a Sankalpa (sacred vow) to a deity but fails to fulfil it?
Are there serious repercussions tied to this act?
And do different Hindu traditions understand this differently?
For example, is an unfulfilled vow to Goddess Lakshmi understood differently from one made to Lord Shiva? Or does it depend more on the nature of the vow?
Please true Hindus help us understand, what the scriptures stand on this, or what your tradition says, or what you have personally learnt through spiritual practice and experience.
Jai Shri Ram🙏🕉️
Dear Indian brothers and sisters, PLEASE DON’T HIDE ANYTHING FROM ME! 😭🙏🕉️
As an African on my Hinduism journey, I have a difficult question, and I need the perspectives.
I noticed Ravana was a great devotee of Lord Shiva, but WHY DIDN’T Lord Shiva TRANSFORM RAVANA’S HEART?
Why could someone worship a powerful deity yet continue down a path that ultimately led to his destruction?
why didn’t Lord shiva intervene to save Ravana from Lord Rama?
What does this teaches us, what is the bigger picture? Do a Lord protect his devotee, or am I missing something?
Reading all the replies has made me realise that my original question was more complicated than I thought. 😭🙏🕉️
The things I understood clearly is that in Hinduism, devotion doesn’t automatically mean a person will stop making wrong choices. Free will, karma, ego and dharma all seem to matter.
This was a big question and I’m deeply grateful to those who looked deeper and showed me the bigger picture.
For everyone who insulted me, please read the replies and gain knowledge with me. Do not become abusive for your own lack of knowledge 🙏🙏
Namaste, Hindu brothers and sisters! 🕉️🙏
As your African Hindu brother 😅😬, I recently practised a form of active meditation and had what felt like a direct encounter with the Divine. 🥹🙏
But can an act still be considered genuine devotion if part of the motivation was someone’s else story?
I was deeply moved by the story of a 19-year-old from Araria, Bihar, who reportedly runs nearly 50 km every day to visit all 12 Jyotirlingas after his mother recovered from an illness.
I am not trying to judge the story. I am trying to understand what it reveals about transforming a devotee mind,
If a Lord can grant blessings to a devotee, can that same Lord allow the devotee to destroy himself through his own choices?
A clip that must never disappear from the internet is; Proud Hindus 🥹🙏🕉️
Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) allows its followers an unconditional right to question God and Existence.
A person of any race or nationality can be a Hindu!
I AM AFRICAN. I am HINDU. 🙏🕉️ what about you?
There are misconceptions about Hinduism.
Proud Hindu share this message to the world full of truth seekers.
Hinduism isn’t just an Indian culture!
You don’t have to be Indian to be Hindu. You can be of ANY race, ANY nationality, and come from ANY corner of the world. 🌍❤️ I am Hindu
Hindus please don’t laugh 😆 at me right now.
WHY DOES THIS LOOK LIKE LORD KRISHNA?! Are my eyes seeing correctly or no?
I found this man/woman online with ZERO CONTEXT!
Is dressing like Krishna a recognised form of devotional practice?
Dear Hindu brothers and sisters,
I have a question about death and what happens after it in Hinduism.
I understand Hinduism teaches reincarnation? But what I didn’t understand is why do Hindus burn their dead instead of burying?
What is the spiritual significance of cremation vs burying?
And here’s something I’m especially curious about:
if a Hindu dies in a country or community where cremation isn’t possible, and their body is buried instead, what does that mean for their soul and their reincarnation?
Please if you don’t have an answer, let share and learn from knowledgeable Hindus.
Do not resort to insulting me for your lack of knowledge. Be a true seeker or unfortunately I’m gonna block you🙏
The most important part of my question is;
if a Hindu dies in a country or community where cremation is alien concept, and their body is buried instead, what does that mean?
