MAJOR WON’T BE PUT DOWN. A FEDERAL COURT JUST SAVED HIS LIFE. A Travis County court ordered Major euthanized. On October 26, a federal court in Austin stopped it for good. Under the ADA, the Court granted a permanent injunction, finding Shane Lilly is a qualified individual with a disability and losing Major would be irreparable harm. The City of Austin is now permanently barred from euthanizing him. Within 30 days he goes to a licensed rescue outside Austin and Travis County, then at least 30 days of decompression with veterinary behaviorist Dr. Kenneth Martin to rehabilitate and retrain him. Strict conditions: secure enclosure, muzzle and leash, $100,000 liability coverage, court reports every 30 days for a year. Per @edayforcongress, the court used her DeFURment program recommendations. Thanks to Shane’s attorney, Christina E. Ponig of Fletcher Held. Copies of the court order are in the comments. A veteran’s service dog lives. What do you want to tell Shane and Major?

One of my dogs loves to eat tomatoes straight from the plant like this. So much so that we have to fence them off! We still find random tomato plants growing around the yard because the seeds had passed through him and started to grow! 😂

My $3,000 LG fridge is a piece of sht. Multiple pieces of the internal plastic have broken, one of the doors won’t stay shut and the ice-maker has failed just to name a few. That’s in just four years and we are not a heavy user. This meme is 100% true.
