Brilliant news! Fossil grove is an incredible site, both scientifically and historically, preserving 330 million year old tree stumps first discovered in the 19th century. Wonderful to hear it's getting the attention it deserves, can't wait to see the results!

A wet lunch break hunting for Wilson's Filmy-fern at Bracklinn Falls. This tiny fern hides away in bryophyte cushions on rocks and tree bases.
No luck at this site, where it was last reported in 1990, but lots of lovely scenery & wildlife! Photo of Wilson's Filmy-fern from Mull
