A Christmas Gift from Bóthar to Rwanda! 🇷🇼🎄 Thanks to our donors' generosity, we're partnering with @RippleEffectNGO, providing livestock to farming women, and training sessions on animal husbandry & sustainable agriculture 👩‍🌾🐮🌱 #Bóthar #fundingfarmingfamilies #bótharlear

Bóthar's donated heifers have settled into their new homes in Kosovo, where they have been welcomed with loving arms!🇽🇰 Thank you to Meshqerra for supporting these families, and to our donors and supporters for making this possible! ☘️😊#Bóthar #fundingfarmingfamilies #bótharlear

Today on Giving Tuesday, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our Trustees - @ShaneMcAuliffe1, Kenneth Arthur, John Kelly, Bryony May, & Patrick Hanley 💙It is a simple “thank you” but we hope it goes a long way #GivingTuesday #TrusteesWeek #Volunteer #Leadership #ThankYou

These living gifts are life-changing for recipients, providing a means of income generation, additional experience in animal husbandry, and high-quality dairy produce 🧑‍🌾🐮🥛🧀 Thank you to all of our supporters, and our in-country partners Meshqerra for making this possible!

Yesterday was distribution day in Kosovo! 🎉 After spending 2 weeks in quarantine, 58 Irish heifers were distributed to families across the Suharekë area 🇽🇰 🇮🇪 #Bóthar #FundingFarmingFamilies #BóTharLear

We cannot thank our donors and supporters enough for helping provide these living gifts which will make a tremendous difference to the livelihoods of dozens of families in the years to come 🤲🌱

Our heifers have arrived in Kosovo. A huge thank you to our Kosovar partners Meshqerra and the team of Florentina, Ilmi & Tahir, who met the heifers upon their arrival, safe and sound and with full bellies (in more ways than one!) 🐄🇮🇪🐮

“Mirë se erdhët në Kosovë, mbarësi dhe begati në çdo familje që do t’ju presë!” 🇽🇰 “Welcome to Kosovo, prosperity and blessings to every family that will receive you!” 💚 #Bóthar #fundingfarmingfamilies #bótharlear

We would also like to thank Ms. Burke & her students from @TullColl who joined us last week at Roscrea Mart, who came to see their sponsored heifer depart. At our gathering inside, we heard about their motivations for supporting Bóthar and how they went about raising funds👏👏🐄

Buongiorno! 🇮🇹 Our donated heifers have made their way down the boot of Italy to hop on the ferry across to the Balkans! A huge thank you to Anglo East Ltd, who have looked after the girls on their journey with cozy lairage and feed 🙌 #Bóthar #FundingFarmingFamilies #bótharlear

In recognition of their amazing work and support over the years, Bóthar CEO Ailish presented the Moate Supporters' Group with a commemorative canvas, depicting the joy a dairy cow brings to those in need 💛🎊🙌 #Bóthar #fundingfarmingfamilies #bótharlear 🐮

Chairperson Pat Allen spoke to those gathered about the founding of the group in 2000, the many, many heifers and goats donated over more than two decades, and the visits the group made to the developing world, to see first-hand the life-changing impact of a living gift. 🎁🫶

We would like to dedicate this post in particular to the Moate Bóthar Supporters' Group which contributed several of the in-calf dairy heifers for this years shipment. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the group's founding! 2⃣5⃣🎂😯

Bóthar's shipment of donated heifers are well on their way to Kosovo now! They're getting some rest and relaxation in France, (along with some tasty French hay 😋🇫🇷) before continuing on their journey across the continent! 🚚⚓

Stay tuned to our social media throughout the week for more highlights from the day, as well as updates on the heifers journey! 📸🚚⛵ #Bóthar #FundingFarmingFamilies #BóTharLear 🐮

We would like to thank all those who were with us on the day, including Mart staff, @agriculture_ie, the Moate Bothar's Supporters' Group, and @TullColl, as well as individual donors. 👏👏👏

Yesterday, 58 in-calf heifers departed Roscrea Mart, bound for Kosovo where they will make an incredible difference to families in need! 🇮🇪🫶🇽🇰 A huge thank you to all of our donors, supporters, and in-country partner Meshqerra, without whom none of this would be possible. 🚜
