Way ahead of the day, melancholy hits me. I remember great women I have worked with, too many to count. Julia Molefhe, Esther Moncho, Margaret Nasha, Gladys Kokorwe, Bone Mtonga, Bunny Molosiwa, Tebelelo Seretse, Grace Muzila, Marianne Nganunu, Constance Moremi, Botlogile Tshireletso, Athalliah Molkomme, Kgosi Mosadi Seboko, Hildah Pitse. From each one of these women I learnt something, some are no longer alive, may their souls rest in peace, for those still alive I say it takes great women to create another. In the event that I omitted some, which is possible, please remember that this message is for you too.

We’ve come far in the HIV response: we can end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030—but only if everyone’s rights are protected.
The HIV response is at a crossroads. If we take the rights path, we will #endAIDS.
So, let us walk it together!

An evening of fireside storytelling at Sentebale’s Lesotho office and Mamohato Children’s Centre where Founding Patrons Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, were joined by the senior leadership team and Let Youth Lead advocates. A magical evening of stories of change and inspiration and vision for the future.

Super excited for those forming a delegation that will be meeting Prince Harry—some for the first time, others it’s a reunion—in just a few days!

Please be cautious during your travels. Mpox spreads through contact with infected persons, animals & materials (contaminated clothes, sheets etc).
Today, we declare #Mpox a Public Health Emergency of Continental Security.
With 2,863 confirmed cases and 517 deaths across 13 African countries in 2024 alone, Mpox is a crisis demanding our collective action. @AfricaCDC is activating resources, partnerships, and leading coordinated and strategic responses to protect our continent.
