The obvious - assuming the numbers hold- is either a DA + ANC, or ANC, MK, PA, EFF, ActionSA and about half a dozen other parties, depending on backroom and brown envelope deals.
The other interesting option could be DA + MK + VF + IFP on the condition that DA supports federalisation of SA provinces with MK... In 2029.
That deal could permanently secure KZN and Gauteng away from ANC control.
A potential win / win, where MK gets to govern KZN, and DA Western Cape.
That would be the turning point, and signal the end of post apartheid revolutionary party / liberation party rule, and the start of something potentially greater, or worse.
Interesting times indeed!
Before anyone insults me, very few of these options are ideal, and none of them are likely to bring prosperity to anyone... I just like the strategic discussion they bring.
