Replying to @AggrendWoW
@AggrendWoW my experience might be unique, tho maybe not. In this thread I’ll explain it and hope you take the time to read through. First and foremost you all have done an amazing job with WOWF.
Diving in:
My wife and I had Left Zephras Isles at level 8.
Since we were level 10 everything would aggro on us. Which resulted in about a 30 minute death run to dalaran. Just by rezzing and dying again repeatedly.
Im not a new player. I’ve played WoW since vanilla, but can imagine new players might fall into this as well.

Guys the fly I was training learned Kennen and he won't listen to the ban list 😭
Out of 2 boxes and 20 packs of UNL here are some numbers:
24x Various Runes
32x Legends (Epic slots)
34x Various tokens
67x Learn to Play
76x Battlefields…
Can’t wait on pack reform.
Appreciate y’all working on this.

These changes make it easier for large groups to farm and hurts the solo players just trying to get their one metal card they want for the weekend.
@riftboundop surely you aren't getting any positive feedback for these changes. In Vegas some Metal Legends did not even sell out.

Hot take: Riftbound is extremely fun to play, the depth we have for a set 2 tcg is insane and I think Riot does a great job at listening to community feedback. Don't listen to the doomers :) – at Berlin, Germany
I said this when Houston RQ was taking place they need to have a 5/10 minute hard stop in OT for #Riftbound @riftboundop
What we really need is a hard stop timer in OT. To me the main issue in Houston was 5 turns in over time taking between 30-40 minutes.
As people learn the game they will get faster, but 30 minutes+ for 5 turns is wild. There should be a hard stop after 3 turn or x minutes.
Riftbound Time Rules Update
China will be trialling a new round timer in their first regional open of 2026 (January 17th-18th) after finding that the proportion of matches completed within 50 minutes was low.
They also say that the new set of rules (see full message below) will be uniformly implemented in Riftbound tournaments globally, so we should expect to see these changes at the Bologna and Las Vegas Regional Qualifiers in February.
Old:
50 minutes + 5 turns
New:
60 minutes + 3 turns
- In the overtime period, a player must lead by 2 points to be declared the winner of the match.
- In the overtime period, if a player's lead is less than or equal to 1 point, the match will be declared a draw.

Great job on announcing a time with the tickets going on sale this go around.
But why do we have to monitor an X account to find a link up to the point of tickets going on sale, to then actually purchase the tickets?
Arbitrary friction for a link we should already have.
Attention Riftbounders! Badges for #RQBologna (Feb. 20-22) and #RQVegas (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) will go on sale Friday (Dec. 19), at 8am Pacific! - Stay tuned for links and more information!
