Congrats to our Cadet-Athletes of the Week presented by @USAA 🫡
• Cheney led @ArmyWP_TrackXC Women's XC team to its 4th-straight Patriot League title with a 2nd-place finish at PL Championships. Army put 6 runners in the top 17 to win the title.
• Cataldo was spectacular in net with a pair of shutouts in a sweep of RIT at home with 50 totals saves, including 27 in Saturday night's 3-0 win. @ArmyWP_Hockey is now tied at the top of the AHA standings.
Remind me again why I usually only post about hockey or other meaningless nonsense...

Military Appreciation games at UMass Boston. I miss UMB. Years ago I was teaching at BC High and my pal Joe Mallen was the coach at UMB. Would go over there all the time. Joe left to be Lenny's asst at BC, then he brought UMass Amherst to D1.

My friend, @BostonCollege Director of Comms Jack Dunn was freshman hockey coach @BCHigh in the 80s. He had 5 kids try out in goal. One cut, Chuckie Hughes, told Jack he'd regret it. He transferred to rival @CatholicMem where he won 3 state titles. Then a Frozen Four at Harvard.

There is a generation of immature Irish people whose approach to the church is still that of 15 year old boys sent to church by their mothers but who instead skip Mass and hide behind a hedge smoking cigarettes until the Mass concludes.
