Not the night we would want for anyone. Racing hard in the @WorldofOutlaws heat race tonight, I got a good run down the frontstretch after turning under a slider in 3 & 4. I got a little pushy coming off the grip as I was trying to clear him with the run and unfortunately my right rear caught Macedo’s left front. It was certainly never my intention, and I feel terrible for those guys. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Phil, Carson, and their entire team. They run a top notch operation, and I hope they’re able to get back on track. Unfortunately, we developed engine issues after the restart, ending our night early. Not the way we wanted to close out 2026, but we’ll pack up, regroup, and get the @VermeerMotorsp1 55 ready for 2027. Excited to announce that I’ve officially accepted the full-time driver position with Vermeer Motorsports 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻! I’m extremely grateful for this opportunity and excited about what’s ahead. Tony Vermeer has surrounded himself with a great group of people, and I’ve really enjoyed working alongside everyone. Tye and I have communicated well from the start, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish as we continue to build that chemistry. A big part of success in this sport is finding consistency, and I feel like we’ve already shown we have the pieces in place to do that. Now it’s about continuing to build, winning races, and ultimately putting ourselves in a position to contend for a championship! I also want to thank TKH Motorsports and CD Racing for their continued support and for allowing me the opportunity to pursue a full-time seat with Vermeer Motorsports. I’ve been fortunate to have a lot of great people behind me throughout my career, and I wouldn’t be in this position without them. Feels good to get the @TonyVermeer55 on the podium! Finished 3rd tonight, carried changes from last night to tonight, set QuickTime, won our heat, and was in a position to battle for the win all feature. Going to carry this momentum into Texas next week!

I have passed this exit dozens of times, but with the kids out for Fall break, we finally stopped to see the world’s largest rocking chair in Casey, IL on our way to Lakeside. The town motto is “Big things in a small town” and it delivers. Fun little detour for the family to see extremely large teeter totter, mouse trap, key, mailbox, bird cage, etc. I was actually pretty impressed with the size of the rocking chair. Cool spot worth the stop!

So cool to see @EldoraSpeedway continuing to build this event and the fans showing up to support it. There’s nothing quite like getting to drive so many different fast race cars in one weekend — especially when they’re all capable of winning! The sun has officially come out at @eldoraspeedway! I will be in the CD Racing @CAFP_Flag 20 nonwing car tonight with the @usacnation Sprint Cars. Four Crown Nationals is one of my favorite events of the year and I will be plenty busy in 3 divisions.
