In a fictional world, we see a mother figure comforting a psychotic murderer, while in the real world, we see psychotic mothers murdering their innocent children. Never in human history have fiction and reality been so diametrically opposite.

I think the "else world" story is precisely the problem with DCU. You have a major character in the Green Lanterns (many actually) and for Normies, we got one movie a long time ago with Ryan Reynolds that told the story. And many agreed that the movie wasn't great. And then you have this show coming out years later as DC is being rebooted again, and you think - oh they're gonna do the Green Lantern story right this time. Right?!? Wrong. Cause they give you another random "else world" story and completely change the characters.
This is such a disconnect from studio heads with the pulse of the Fandom and what they are actually asking for. And then it comes out that the entire show was made with race relations in the mind of the writers. And it becomes clear that it was another show with a "message" that was more important than showing the story that made people love The Green Lantern.
Who do you think I hate though? And why exactly? If we agree on that then you can stop pretending to speak for me.
I think Kaida is smart enough to know that you can dislike Hal being pushed down, but yet still like this version of Hal & John Stewart and the Show overall. But that's the problem. Most people don't understand Nuance. Its either I agree with everything you do "secretly" or im "lying" about everything. lol.🤣Really? Is your brain this weak-minded? We ARE OG. Lanterns has been a great new take (elseworlds imo) on the Lantern Brand & has made many new fans of it who are buying the comics right now. My local comic guy shop said more people have been coming in asking about it. But Yall can keep crying about it and exaggerating all yall want. Its been successful despite crybabies on X trying to shit all over EVERY aspect of it & misrepresent the its themes for their own "ally" kudos. Bro, I bet you that if you tweeted something nice about the show tho with no context & no qualifiers your X followers would BLAST the fuck outta you!😂What's that say about how YOU are allowed to think? Lanterns is a superhero show made by people who don't like superheroes for people who hate superheroes.
The only thing Damon Lindelof, Tom King, and Chris Mundy failed to do was have John Stewart whip out his weenie and piss on Hal Jordan's corpse.

Hal Jordan didn't even get a glorious death befitting a hero of his stature. He gets shot by a emotional woman having a crash out. And what does his death even mean?
Usually when a major character in a series dies, that death should have consequences. It should devastate the audience, alter the characters who remain, and fundamentally alter the story going forward. Remember the emotions you felt with Spock's death in The Wrath of Khan? People still can't watch that scene without getting choked up. It reverberates throughout the rest of the film series, affects the other characters because of how important Spock is to us as the audience and to the story as a whole.
So what impact will Hal Jordan's murder have on the DCU? Does anyone even care? Will it even be mentioned again? Probably not. If one of the most important superheroes in DC history dies and the universe barely seems to notice, then what was the point? No one even showed up at his funeral. What a disrespectful way to kill off one of the greatest superheroes ever.
Hal Jordan deserved better. #JusticeForHal
