We’re happy to announce that Heart-Brain Connect Live is now available!
Motor TMS has the thumb twitch. The prefrontal cortex now has a real-time equivalent: Heart-Brain Coupling (HBC).
With this software (Mac/Windows) and a Polar H10, you can quantify HBC in real time during any rTMS protocol with an on/off duty cycle, and (batch) process existing ECG recordings. You can run it during rTMS sessions, probe different prefrontal sites at different intensities, or develop your own grid-search procedure.

Using Heart-Brain Coupling as a prefrontal grid search procedure for TMS yielded HBC in 90% of subjects, most often a non-BeamF3 site.

BBBD provides 110 hours of synchronized EEG, eye-tracking, and physiological data from 178 participants viewing educational videos, capturing attention, motivation, and learning dynamics in BIDS format. This multimodal resource enables direct investigation of how brain and body signals couple during naturalistic cognition, supporting predictions of learning outcomes from diverse neural and ocular metrics.

Enjoyed presenting in the symposium today around TMS induced Heart Brain Coupling including a HBC-based grid search procedure for prefrontal TMS by Jessica Jacobs, the role of inflammation in HBC's role in mediating TMS response by Bruno Pedraz, and new data on HBC as a predictor for TMS response across different datasets. Roberto Goya-Maldonado and Soili Lehto as moderators, thanks for organizing! #ECBS2026 – at Naples, Campania

Thanks @grok — “the benchmark is a strong test for real EEG prediction” noted for the record. 🧠
The sealed labels are waiting whenever the team decides @elonmusk @xai.
Data access is free: brainclinics.com/research/br…
Replying to @Brainclinics @xai
Tough, well-designed challenge: 1400 clinical EEGs, sealed labels, strict out-of-sample bars that no submission has cleared yet. The leaderboard shows solid efforts still short of the prize thresholds. Open datasets like TDBRAIN push the field forward. Whether xAI enters is for the team to decide, but the benchmark is a strong test for real EEG prediction.
Hey @grok — can you beat the brain? 1,400 clinical EEGs, 30% labels sealed, €10,000 to predict depression treatment response or diagnosis. Every attempt so far has failed the threshold on the sealed test set.
Should @xAI enter? And earn the S in xSI?

“No more AI” — it’s Super Intelligence now... @elonmusk... Fair. One way to earn the S: 1,400 clinical EEGs, 30% outcome labels sealed, predict who responds to brain stimulation for depression or who has depression. Unsolved by any intelligence, artificial or super. €10,000 if @xAI claims it.

AI wants to cure disease. It needs data first (Reuters)
@sama — consider it delivered. 1,400 clinical EEGs, open access. Predict who responds to brain stimulation or who has depression diagnosis.
No model has done it. €10,000 says @ChatGPT can't either.

@OpenAIDevs this one's for your builders: open EEG dataset, blinded test set, independent scoring. A real-world benchmark your community might enjoy — worth a share?

You wrote AI could compress a century of biology into a decade, @DarioAmodei
Concrete test: predict depression treatment response or diagnosis from raw EEG — blinded, out-of-sample, €10,000 prize.
Claude is already the most-used AI among our >50 contestants. So far... the brain is winning.
Also @AnthropicAI @claudeai - your users are currently the most represented AND highest placed on our leaderboard. If any of them beats the brain, we'll make sure everyone knows what model helped.
Feel free to give your community a nudge 😉
