Nebraska averaged almost 6 yards per carry in the first half. Every player with a carry averaged at least 5 yards per carry. And yet, just chucking the ball down the field with a guy who is struggling with downfield accuracy. Make it make sense

Nebraska is at 34% on the current Polymarket odds. Removing G5 teams like Boise State (52%) would open at least one extra at-large spot for Power 4/ND squads. As a Big Ten bubble team, Nebraska's chances would rise into the low-to-mid 40s range, depending on how other contenders like Ole Miss and Wake Forest finish.

I am seeing a lot of posts on the Millard South vs Westside game so I will say my 2 cents.
I had the privilege of attending the game and watching two outstanding young quarterbacks yesterday, and I walked away proud of both.
One fought to keep his team competing against a stronger opponent. Even when the pressure mounted, he kept battling and putting his body on the line for his teammates. He could have given in, but he continued to compete through all four quarters.
The other faced a tough first half, regrouped, and came back executing at a high level in every aspect of his game. His resilience and skill were something special to witness.
The final score and the stats don’t tell the whole story. They don’t define a player’s heart, effort, or commitment. I’m grateful my son got to see two peers compete at such a high level and to witness the character each showed in his own way.

I don’t care what anyone says, being a mid 30s Husker fan is the worst of any fandom. Too young to really remember the glory days, but you know about them, and have suffered grueling loss over and over again.

You can be mad at Nyziah Hunter for not getting out of bounds and it’s valid.
You can also say that having a timeout in your back pocket would be nice there, too.
Seems like Nebraska’s consistently attempting game-winning drives in the final minute with no timeouts left.

I'm done with Matt Rhule. His personnel decisions and game management lose football games every single week and he has shown no indication he will ever learn. He brings his players down with his idiotic decisions and poor coaching. These kids deserve better.
