We had such an amazing Community Outreach & Events Committee meeting tonight! DM me if you’re interested in joining our committee. Get ready for some amazing events starting in April! Here’s a hint: 🌎 & 🍿🎥 – at Washington, DC
I overhead "How was your COVID?" So much work from so many people but so glad my company @TheRegularApp has brought back @DCBocceLeague and it's wonderful community. All while bringing customers to local #DC businesses on a slow night. Let's play #Bocce!
Continuing to share events! This isn't @TheRegularApp but instead the Give Local Gala for @cataloguedc on May 23rd! This year will celebrate 20 years of raising visibility for #DC nonprofits & will reveal what’s in store Catalogue's future! More info: givelocalgala.org
Last week I resigned as @ANC1A 06. Been an HONOR to help rep #ColumbiaHeights. Tough decision but 1) need family focus for a bit & 2) IMO #ANC is broken & inequitable system. I'll continue to give back on the board of @cataloguedc or w/small biz in #DC w/my company @TheRegularApp
Having keynoted/presented, helped plan, & attended so many conferences I know 'why' it happens. But I just lol at the wealthy foundation owning pseudo celebrities at these events.... Especially in #philanthropy & #Socialimpact. Why not people actually doing the work?
This would be too difficult for that set
VCs now realizing Silicon Valley has a public image problem and suggesting we increase PR efforts and participation in politics to make clear that Silicon Valley problems are every American's problems…
A better (and easier) starting point might simply be investing in more underrepresented founders that live outside of SV and NYC. At the very least, we won't have to all retweet the same female founder in Ohio next time.
I love @DCBocceLeague. I know thousands of others do too (just went to wedding of folks who met at @LousCityBar!) My company @TheRegularApp now operates DC Bocce & Spring Registration is open! If looking for a fun league/community this Spring come join! theregularapp.com/dcbocce
Excited to coordinate this effort for @ANC1A. First step will be practical - building a plan & a place to gather and manage feedback on public life in Columbia Heights. More to come soon!
We voted to support the establishment of a Public Life Task Force to serve as a community liaison for all matters relating to the public life in our neighborhoods. Reach out to Commissioner @BrandolonB with any questions!
I'm excited for this one. If you're an #Entrepreneur or creative in #DC looking for community come join for drinks and good company
Community alert! DMV Monthly Entrepreneur Meetup hosted by @KingfisherInDC every 3rd Wednesday starting Mar 15th. Join us! Event is free for all w/ free drinks & other perks for anyone subscribed to Kingfisher through The Regular App (iOS & Android):

Lost someone important to me recently. The funeral reminded me of a thought I've had. That funeral or ceremony, whatever occasion brings you together w/others, can be thought of as a last gift from someone you love. Perhaps a small comfort for anyone else dealing with loss
So many events this week for our team @TheRegularApp. Super excited for this one tonight
Need last minute plans tonight in #DC? We & DC Album Club will be at @JugandTableDC / @RoofersUnionDC at 7:30. FREE listening & costume (optional) party. We'll be spinning this awesome album by @TheMidnightLA w/our best 80s outfits & 80s inspired DJ set. eventbrite.com/e/dc-album-cl…
Working on some incredibly cool #socialimpact innovations as Chief Product Officer for @humanitas_ai. For anyone interested, my team is #hiring for a part time product designer (UI/UX) lead for a nonprofit focused product offering - linkedin.com/jobs/view/34567…
Excited to share I’ve joined the board of
@GivingCompass. Experienced a lifetime & much tragedy learning how I can do work & live life w/impact. Giving Compass is making that journey easier for people. Honored to help in that mission & join this team - prnewswire.com/news-releases…
Been quiet building my company @TheRegularApp. Curating events/experiences folks love. Then helping them gather at idle times at bars/venues to help local business. Acquired @DCBocceLeague & @DistrictKaraoke. Gonna share events here to spread the word! eventbrite.com/e/district-ka…
As #ANC for the plaza I'm so saddened. No one reached out to me or anyone in the community. Could have raised funds for a tree together. Shouldn't be like this. Emblematic of other issues. I've been re-elected & will begin a full term. We need change - dcist.com/story/22/12/06/dc-…
Hosting a #GivingTuesday "power hour" tomorrow at @LousCityBar. I founded @TheRegularApp wanting community at center of engagement w/local bars/brands. Even more so after acquiring @DCBocceLeague & @DistrictKaraoke & joining @cataloguedc board! Come join! eventbrite.com/e/giving-tues…
Join us and @cataloguedc TOMORROW on #GivingTuesday (Nov 29) at @LousCityBar from 6-8pm. eventbrite.com/e/giving-tues…
Our @DCBocceLeague teams will be playing some bocce and joining others in supporting good causes in our community!

Join us and @KingfisherInDC for Bingo tonight in #DC! Not your ordinary Bingo night in one of the best bars in the city
It’s called #bingo and it’s so stupidly easy and fun to play you may actually forgive us for talking to you like you’re a moron. The game starts tonight at 8:00 and is hosted by @TheRegularApp. If you like getting great deals on local businesses, check them out.
