I really hope Apple actually does something uniquely innovative sometime. I’m not exactly super plugged in to the tech space but aside from the Duo (which seems to be a repainted version of the Galaxy), what was the last big innovation of their own Apple blew people away with?
Kai Cenat was in disbelief to find out Samsung had foldable phones years before Apple after meeting someone in Japan 😭😭

the way these ai companies and brands partnering with them is just going to crash their own businesses when there’s nothing to even drive revenue anymore is going to be so bad lol

The Walking Dead’s Season 7 premiere where Negan killed Glenn & Abraham was October 23, 2016. More than 10 years ago. What the fuck.

There is an Easter egg in Clayface that is either a direct reference to Robert Pattinson’s Batman or bait to make us argue about it. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

We had it so good when just writing an article about Pokemon Go or a meteor coming to Fortnite would move the analytics needle to oblivion and everyone could just go get lunch.

“Right, Cap? I mean, Steve…” is such a great meta joke between Ant-Man’s bit with the Wasp of calling him Cap and so many fans referring to Chris Evans as Captain America still. This is good stuff.
Steve Rogers, Captain America and Ant-Man in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’. “Right Cap? I mean Steve…”

Marvel’s SDCC panel was really cool but for Doomsday they assembled most of the cast, replayed a trailer released earlier that week, and no actor besides RDJ, Pedro, or Rudd spoke. Pedro said 1 word. Rudd answered a joke Q. It was epic to attend. Still, the rollout just feels odd to me so far. I’m not bashing it, I’m obviously very excited for this movie lol my biggest mistake continues to be thinking i can love anything on here without being called a shill or express a thought that’s even a little bit critical and not be met with astonished replies like I’m an idiot.

Marvel dominated the comic con, dominated D23, released a trailer that broke records, teasers since December 2025, several commercial partnerships, toys and products coming out every day and you come to tell me that you are off because of a baseball commercial and….

Avengers: Doomsday is having a strange marketing rollout. My excitement is 10 but not because of the new posters or today’s “new look.” Aside from the chairs bit (which I thought was clever, fun, and unique) and the CinemaCon show you had to be in the room for, it’s felt… off?

I watched Netflix’s new Ray Gunn movie last night. Brad Bird just has the ambitious, magic touch. It started a bit slow, being carried by some humorous bits and creativity reminiscent of Monsters Inc. with character designs that sometimes felt Nintendo-like in their creativity and unique appearances. Once the story and extremely rich world are established, the movie is super engaging and creative. Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson do a great job voicing their characters but the true winner of the movie is the fearlessly creative animation and design. For me, it might not be an instant classic to the tier of Bird’s The Incredibles but I find it to be a compliment that I am even debating such a comparison. There’s a lot of originality here that works really well and reminded me of what I loved in Pixar and Disney animated films from the early 2000s, in some ways. There were a few ideas and elements that could’ve been more fleshed out to fully realize the world Ray Gunn takes us to but even the elements which don’t seem to have fully reached that potential are still great at the degree to which they are delivered. It’s a very good movie. Lots of fun. One parents can watch with kids over the holidays and enjoy while the kids enjoy it, too. I really dug it. Have you heard about Ray Gunn yet?
