There’s no hesitation at all from this ole Mississippi State fan to say WAY TO GO OLE MISS!!! What a game and what a sweet victory.

Dolly Parton represented all that is kind, caring, loving and talented about the South. Her impact as a good human being is just as impressive as her professional career.

So good to run into my old friend and former Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court, Bill Waller, Jr., today at the The B.T.C. Old-Fashioned Grocery!

Congrats to my dear friend, @NARUC President Ann Rendahl on a successful Summer Policy Summit in Minneapolis. Ann served as Chair of Electricity during my tenure as @NARUC President and is doing a great job as head of the trade group representing utility regulators across America!

Honored to announce that I’m rejoining the Advisory Council of the @nmsu Center for Public Utilities. The CPU is one of the crown jewels of utility regulation in all of America and one of only four university centers in the country endorsed by @NARUC!

Great to be in Boston tonight with my friend, former, Congressman Joe Kennedy for Red Sox versus Yankees game at historic Fenway Park.

Front porches are made for friends and fellowship. Thanks to all who stopped by today for a casual Memorial Day lunch catered by the excellent folks at The Oaks at Sherin Farms!

It is a sincere honor today to be named as a Mississippi Trustee on the newly-created Southern Deltas Board of Trustees of @nature_org alongside others from our state, Alabama and Louisiana. Protecting the natural resources of the Gulf South and promoting conservation is important work and I’m honored to volunteer in that effort.

Great to catch up with my friend and recently-elected Georgia Public Service Commissioner Peter Hubbard today in Atlanta!

Blue Mountain tore it up on their song “Jimmy Carter” today at the Casey Jones Music Festival here in wonderful Water Valley, MS. I just want to have the fun the gentleman down front in the black hat had! @SenatorCarter, we will get you on stage next time!

Proud to be in Jackson tonight with my good friend, Charles Taylor, Executive Director of the Mississippi State Conference of the @NAACP!

Happy Heavenly Birthday to Governor William Winter who would have turned 103 today. Governor Winter’s legacy is unparalleled in Mississippi history. From education reform to racial reconciliation, he spent every moment trying to make Mississippi a better place.

Since I’ll be getting a full day head start on 2026 by ringing it in with the Kiwis here in New Zealand, let me go ahead and wish you all a Happy New Year from “Down Under.”

Typical Saturday morning in the office.

The Elvis mug takes First Prize this year.

From our home (painted by local artist Bill Warren as a Christmas gift) to yours, Merry Christmas to each of you!

The goodness, charity and love of the American people can be found in these small, quiet acts that make a real difference in the lives of one another. I couldn’t be prouder of my hometown.

It’s an honor to serve as Chairman of the Water Valley Electric Commission, our publicly-owned electric utility that dates back to 1894. Tonight was extra special as I introduced our customers to Jim McClure, our new General Manager.

In honor of the game today between Ole Miss and Tulane, I’ve dipped into the rarest of the rare in the Presley family collection. 😊
