I love this from Treyson. Everything about Jesus's life and mission is applicable to ours - for every situation we find ourselves in, He is our master mentor.
The disciples watched Jesus die on Friday, not knowing what Sunday would bring. What looked like the end was only the beginning. A reminder that some of life’s greatest blessings come after its darkest moments. Don’t lose faith in the middle of the story.

Btw, this talk linked in the CFM lesson? Wild. I wonder what Sister Nelson meant by this.

The conduct of these fans at the @UCF vs. @BYU game was disgraceful, and the @SUS_Florida Board of Governors has no patience for this. The President of UCF, with whom I’ve been in contact, and his team, acted immediately when this occurred. Fans who did this were kicked out of the game, and i suspect the university will have its own plans for dealing with students who violated their policies. I know President Cartwright well, and no one is more disgusted than he is, and he is dealing with this appropriately. Thank you, @BYUFlorida and @BYU for your patience and understanding. These people’s conduct does NOT represent our State University System or UCF.
Stadium made an announcement for no discriminatory chants and boos flooded from the student section followed by another chant. Cops are now escorting students out of the game

“THIS WASN’T A COINCIDENCE.” ——————————————— @GerritWGong, I know you probably won’t see this, but I wanted to thank you. My sister in law FaceTimed me just now with tears of joy after having met you. She’s been inactive for a while. She’s been trying to go back to church. Her boyfriend decided to start taking lessons recently as well. They met with the missionaries recently and she wrote in her journal as well as prayed for a sign that what she is doing is right. If she’s on the right path of going back to church. If all this even matters. Then you ran into her and her boyfriend shortly after that. I won’t share the rest on here, but I know what she felt; she will always remember. Then before you left, you grabbed her by her hand, looked her in the eyes and said: (Her name), this wasn’t a coincidence!” She said, “Troy. I know he spoke to me, but it felt like Christ himself was speaking to me!” I told her as Christ’s anointed, He was. He did. Through you!” Thank you for recognizing and ministering to “the one.” Or in this case, two.

One more angle which suggests the defender was indeed pulled down into the kicker.
Lots of questions about this one. There is forcible contact to the kicker’s plant leg. Replays are unclear but if the defender overpowers the blocker, then this is a foul. If the blocker pulls the defender down into the kicker it’s not a foul.

You haven’t experienced confusion until you have watched the end of this BYU game with no sound. What just happened?

That is a complete mess in BYU/UCF. If that’s a forward pass, it’s also intentional grounding. Just awful officiating.

“Quite a number of persons were present who did not belong to the Church, and one man, more bitter and skeptical than others, made note with pencil and paper of a prophecy uttered on that occasion, wherein Joseph said that "Forty days shall not pass, and the stars shall fall from heaven." . . . Brother Hancock was unmoved and quietly remarked, "There is one night left of the time, and if Joseph said so, the stars will certainly fall tonight. This prophecy will all be fulfilled." The matter weighed upon the mind of Brother Hancock, who watched that night, and it proved to be the historical one, known in all the world as "the night of the falling of the stars." The amount of bad calls at the end of this game was absurd. There is an officiating crisis in CFB.
How can this be called roughing the Kicker?

Appreciate UCF doing something about “F— the Mormons” chants from their student section besides issuing a copy-and-paste apology statement after the game.
Third time they’ve announced “No derogatory or vulgar chants” to the Student Section. Promptly, it starts again… UCF FOLLOWED THROUGH!! Yellow security shirts immediately popped up and they’re escorting MULTIPLE student groups out 🤯

That roughing the kicker call was AWFUL. And now UCF has a TD. Can't accuse the Big 12 of protecting BYU on that one.
